Putin Rejects Socialism
english.pravda.ru ^ | December 26, 2013 | Xavier Lerma

President Putin prefers a free market and capitalism over socialism. It must be true. Otherwise the Communist US government and western media would favor Putin. Instead they brand him as a tyrant or dictator. They try often in making him look like them when he is not a Communist. Khrushchev's 1959 prediction came true and now most US citizens do not know they are in the USSR on American soil. The universe has changed and the other side of the world is free as Putin prefers capitalism...

Yes, President Vladimir Putin has been weaning Russia from socialism to capitalism ever since he used oil revenues to pay off the debt owed to the IMF and others. He has been promoting fewer taxes for small businesses and a conservative approach to economics and society. Half the governors have been fired in Russia for corruption and he even threatened a governor to improve dental care. He has helped the largest country in the world out of darkness and there is still more to be done. Yet, he has found the time and energy to lead the world by its hand towards peace and economic prosperity which the US has helped to destroy.

Last December 19th at Putin's News conference, Maria from the Vladivostok newspaper, who longs for the old Soviet Union days, asked Putin to nationalize businesses so the country can have more money to solve cancer, health and other society issues. She says the country will love him and let him be president for life if he does that. I bet Obama wishes there were more like her in the US. If you notice in the video she seemed awkward and out of place just like a US news anchor does when they use their commanding voice to declare nothing.

There are areas where Putin has advanced capitalist ideas, mainly I believe because he’s a keen study of where western governments have fallen into deep holes, but it is inescapable that while Putin has removed various oligarchs from power, it is usually because they had opposed his faction of the Russian government, and their downfall has been to the benefit of friendly oligarchs.
Russia’s economic growth is still going to be tepid until Putin can encourage expansion outside of the major cities. With the right incentives and modest investments, rural Russia has room to thrive.

My jury is still out. The best propagandists the world has ever known were based in Moscow. I’m not so certain they aren’t back to plying their old trade.

I’m just waiting until the Pope rules on this. I’m interested in his viewpoint.

Jan. 28, 2009, in the midst of the financial crisis, Putin warned about Increasing state role in the economy.

“Countries should try to avoid this blind belief that the state could solve all problems.”

The ruling elite would like the benefits of Capitalism and still have the benefits of Central Planning.
It takes a certain type of people to embark upon the entrepreneur path.(we’re losing that fast here in the good ol’ USA) East Germany is the prime example of people who were freed and didn’t know what to do with themselves.

I am taking a wait and see approach but at this point I honestly would prefer Putin over Obama.

“What do you think the Russians talk about in their Council of States? Karl Marx? They sit down with their statistical decision theories, lineal programming charts, and their Mini-Mac solutions and compute the cost-price probabilities of their stocks and transactions, just like we do.”

I wish our president would embrace capitalism instead of socialism.

The Butterfly Effect

The 1968 Tet Offensive resulted in the annihilation of Viet Cong units throughout South Vietnam and was a disaster for the Communist insurgency; it never recovered from its loses. The Tet Offensive had been a “Do or Die” attack by the Viet Cong on every South Vietnamese City, village, and military installation; they failed and they paid the price for their failure; they died. The war was carried on after Tet 1968 by invading North Vietnamese, and North Vietnam could never move sufficient troops down the Ho Chi Minh Trail to ever hope to defeat the United States effort in South Vietnam, so they resorted to another Communist tactic; they lied.

1968 was a Presidential Election year, and the American Communist Party attempted to use the Tet Offensive to influence the election by claiming it was a Communist victory and the war was lost. The American Communist Party organized an anti-war movement and assembled enough strength through this movement to seize control of the Democrat Party that summer during the 1968 Democrat Convention in Chicago. These Communists attempted to nominate a Presidential candidate who would end the war and they failed, but the American Communist Party still retained control of the Democrat Party, and this Party managed to elect enough Communists to Congress to cut funding for the Vietnam War, and the war was lost so in this way, the 1968 Tet Offensive was indeed a Communist victory.

After using the Tet Offensive to gain control of the Democrat Party, they never lost control, and when they managed to elect an avowed Marxist Communist to the Presidency of the United States, it made the Tet Offensive the greatest Communist victory of all times.

Putin is not a capitalist. He is a mercantilist. The absolute monarchs of the 18th century would have recognized and approved of his economic policies.

And Walter Cronkite broke the news to America that it had lost the war as of the TET offensive. Lying communist child borne of an unmarried dog.

The biggest critics of Putin in this country seem to be the biggest and statist Free Trader Communists....who seem to pull their heads out of Chairman Mao’s tailpipe long enough to whine about Putin

Putin is a dictator and not a good man...but less of a Communist than the folks running Communist China or the White House.

I am not so naive as to think Putin has completely changed. I believe Putin is pragmatic and looking out for Russia and in so doing, realizes communism and socialism lead to national failure. Obama wants national failure, therefore he aims for what the old Soviet Union was. Putin also understands moral laws and the necessity for them for a country and people to survive. Obama is dead set on destroying any morality left in America, especially Christian morality.

Leading to the fall of South Vietnam, and later the fall of Cambodia, just like those silly domino-theorist's had predicted. Oh yeah, and 30% of the Cambodian population was massacred.
