Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio’s choice to head up the city’s child-welfare agency allegedly once allowed an X-rated party for juvenile inmates — part of her “therapeutic” approach to rehabilitating violent thugs.
Gladys Carrión found herself in the middle of a scandal in 2010 when it was reported that under her watch as state commissioner of children and family services, violent juveniles at a facility in Goshen were allowed to have female guests over for a “social.”
But as The Post reported at the time, the December 2009 event turned into a wild sex party complete with lap dances and other lewd acts seen on surveillance cameras and involving an underage girl and a suspected hooker.
Four male inmates, including several violent gang-bangers, under the age of 21 attended the event, and each was allowed to invite a guest.
The guests included a 15-year-old girl and the suspected prostitute, who had been paid $100 by one of the inmates.
Republicans called for Carrión to be fired, but then-Gov. David Paterson refused, saying “she’s done an excellent job.”
And a spokesman for Carrión defended the socials at the time as “part of our way of incentivizing good behavior.”

They may skyrocket. Pedophile sex tourism is profitable and that appears to he the goal.

It will be interesting to see how the Hipsters react to a “retro” NYC. Here ya go, guys and gals, NYC, 1970s style.
The voters had a choice between something akin to civilization, and something else more like a stew of Sodom and Detroit.
They chose the stew of barbarism. There is quite simply nothing coming out of NYC that would surprise me in the coming four years.
Nothing.
I have in the works a very high-profile and profitable project that would be NYC-based that would have required several trips there in 2015/2016. It will go onto the back burner for the duration.
De Blasio is mentally ill. This will become more and more apparent with time.
I remember that street when it was all legitimate movie theaters—an amazing sight to a child, like Candyland or something.
Aside from having children together, which is her only attchment. They are not married, and she is associated with ACORN and the family workers party and a decision maker in all city appointments and present at all city meetings. They have a non elected person in the highest office in the city making mayoral decisions with his blessing
Couldn’t happen to a more deserving city. OK, maybe Chicago, too.
