Last year there were 431,356 federal gun background checks from Alabama. There have been 486,506 checks this year--and that's before December's numbers are in. If trends continue, Alabama's on track to have half-a-million background checks for 2013. Theres one simple explanation.

I think the quote is attributed to him but has never been authenticated. Yamanoto who studied in the US knew, at that time not sure about today, it would be impossible to invade the US. Same as our invading Japan, it would have been defended to the end.

Here's the thing, though: I wish Alabamians would have resisted that Federal-Quisling "stop at the roadblock and give me DNA" thing that happened in St. Clair county. Maybe there's a different culture upstate, I dunno.

Exactly. Those using the quote discredit their position, the same as with the bogus Hitler quote about gun control in 1935. Relax, we have enough quotes and facts on our side to win the debate...plus the other side has to actually take the guns to win. Ain’t gonna happen, especially since there are far more guns per person now than in the ‘40’s, and we increase the ratio every year.

Alabama is still wasting a lot of money by being a shall issue state, instead of going for full gun liberty like Arizona.
They also have a weird old law that prohibits any weapons being concealed in walking sticks or canes. That one should be eliminated as just housecleaning.
