Why The Chamber of Commerce Is Planning To Attack Conservatives and Tea Party Candidates…
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | 12-28-2013 | sundance

Yesterday we shared the story of the CoC announcing their intention to spend $50 million in order to protect and maintain establishment Republicans. Yesterday the SCF (Senate Conservatives Fund) also sent out a distribution letter notifying supporters of the same issue.

However, the SCF misses the point when they note:

“The Chamber is pro-bailout, pro-stimulus, and pro-debt so it’s no surprise they want to elect more liberal Republicans.”

I’m using it to promote the tea party to the disaffected left.

I’m pointing out that the democrats stir them up with anger over crony capitalism and corporate welfare but doesn’t give them squat. The chamber is attacking the tea party because they know we mean it.

Washington, DC is now a money pit into which the wealth of the nation is being poured. 6 of the top 10, and 8 of the 13 wealthiest counties in the country are located in the DC metropolitan statistical area. And how much of that wealth benefits the rest of the nation? What does Washington make, other than laws and regulations enforced upon the rest of us, while corporate and labor lobbyists effectively work to exclude themselves from the costs of government and obtain unearned benefits from it?

Of course the national Chamber of Commerce wants to kill the Tea Party: they are increasingly captive to, and clients of the Federal government. And they very much wish to maintain the status quo.

Ditch Mitch.

"Who is Blair Latoff’s husband, National Republican Senatorial Campaign head, Josh Holmes? Why he’s the former Chief of Staff for Mitch McConnell."

The US C of C, like many large insurance companies, financial institutions, and other companies before them seem to miss the overwhelming lessons of history. Companies large and small do not do well in socialist/fascist gov’t systems. A small business that seeks cheap labor will find itself with poor customers—labor is cheap in Mexico so why not move your restaurant there to lower your costs? The answer should be obvious. For large companies, lots of cheap labor whether of the low-skill or high-skill variety is only cheap if they have the exact skills you need at the moment. For everyone else you let in, you have few jobs and they won’t have money to buy your products. You will have to pay for their public services, however, and for those laborers you DO hire, the gov’t will make sure they are costly else the gov’t will demonize you and cause labor and social strife (do a search on “France”).

As for gov’t contracts, every socialist nation that buys from a company does two things—devalue the payments, often through inflation, and control the heck out of your company.

The insurance companies are now finding out just how painful it is to play footsie with a socialist gov’t. The US Chamber of Commerce seems eager to get their turn at being abused. US citizens, in the meantime, watch in stunned shock.

It’s a set back to discussion when so few read the dang article. Wastes band width to splain and correct and inform.

The connections were brow raising.

Thx for posting.

Man, that's an understatement. All they really are is another arm of the UNIPARTY political class.

Then, as far as I’m concerned, they are my mortal enemies. Even if they are my small city neighbors. They might as well be standing in the square and selling your children as slaves.

Big business, big government Republicans are every bit as fascist as their Democrat counterparts. Both want government controlling monetary flow, banking, and consumers, keeping elites afloat, and creating bubbles with mandates. It’s no wonder they hate conservatives more than extremist Democrats.

Government is an industry in and of itself. It’s primary product is power over our money, backed by laws and regulation. The Chamber of Commerce is just as bad as the crack whore getting EBT, Medicare, Section 8 housing, and a few Obamaphones. And we are the slaves who produce the crop that keeps our government industry masters in power. Neither major party is even slightly interested in us, except for what they can force us to give them.

Good post.

The current Fed gov’t’s, like any socialist gov’t’s, priority is to loot the nation’s wealth. They call it fairness when outright lying and redistribution when a little less deceitful but, in practice, the main activity of a socialist gov’t is to loot.

You can explain nearly every action of the socialist leadership with this simple principle; a principle as old as humanity itself, that is, the construction and maintenance of institutions that provide the power to steal.
