At least 10 people have been killed and 10 others injured in an explosion on a trolleybus in the Russian city of Volgograd, Russian media report.
The blast comes a day after 17 people died in a suicide bomb attack at the central station in the city.
Security has been tightened at railway stations and airports across Russia.
Moscow is concerned militant groups could be ramping up violence in the run-up to the 2014 winter Olympic Games in the city of Sochi.
The Olympic venue is close to Russia's volatile north Caucasus region.
Volgograd lies about 900km (560 miles) south of Moscow, 650km north of the North Caucasus and 700km north-east of Sochi.

My wife is on the Internet and phone talking to family and friends in Volgograd. That’s how she knows about the third bomb in the marsuka (taxi).
They are beautiful, smart, and strive to get upper hand. Still, they are wonderful.
the way to dissuade these suicide muslims is to identify the bomber by their remains and then track down and terminate their entire families . Men , women and children . No mercy . Destroy or confiscate all property belonging to the associated people and then announce that this is is the policy and fate that will befall any and all who engage in such homicide IEDs . make the cost too great to bear , the result too terrifying for the entire blood line associated with the bombers. All these bomber candidates have relatives . Make them the one responsible , make them the ones to make sure that none of their relatives choose that path . End of problem .
