Rep. Steve Stockman (R-Texas) on Monday tweeted out an endorsement of his favorite gun lubricant: liberal tears.
The far-right conservative is a staunch opponent of gun control legislation and has said in the past that gun regulations enacted through executive action could merit President Barack Obamas impeachment.
Stockman announced earlier this month that he would challenge incumbent Sen. John Cornyn in the Texas Republican primary.

Yea, but TX Republicans like both Cornball and George P! I think we are doomed again.
Notice this characterization: “The far-right conservative”. I wonder if they consider Obama and Pelousy far left wing loonies? I don’t have to ask.
I’ve always liked Hoppes, but I may start collecting liberals’ tears to try as an alternative.
“Notice this characterization: The far-right conservative.”
Yeah, do they ever call Bernie Sanders or Sherrod Brown, etc. “far left democrats”??
Bah. I've had enough of them. There will be a war in this country soon, and we'll have some hard choices to make. These crybabies, though, will hide behind the government's skirts and bawl.
Now there's some positive thought. We have Ted Cruz Theo.
David Dew(nothin)hurst was primaried in a runoff....member?
If Cornyn gets tangled up in a runoff, he’z gonna lose.
Smoky Robinson had a good song about their tears.
Stockman has a long track record of being an outsider, not a GOPe insider.
Stockman was one of a group of outsider types who were elected in the Republican wave of 1994 to Congress. He was drawn by court order into a more Democratic district in 1996 and lost his seat.
Steve Stockman went out into the political wilderness for awhile, but he got back to Congress.
I support him as the alternative to business as usual politics represented by John Cornyn.
