NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) –A federal judge in Manhattan ordered a “compassionate release” Tuesday from prison for a dying former civil rights lawyer.
The U.S. government requested the release earlier in the day for Lynne Stewart, who was convicted in a terrorism case from prison. Prosecutors say Stewart, 74, suffers from recurrent stage-four breast cancer. She was not scheduled to be released until August 2018.

It’s the Will of Allah.
Release her off the Brooklyn Bridge.
No, lock her in a small room with a very hungry hog.
yeah....right. We are ruled by the enemy.
Stage 4 is not dying. It depends on the type of cancer. This simply means that it has spread outside of its initial area, but not necessarily that it has metastasized.
They’re just letting the evil anti-American nutcase out because the new anti-Semitic mayor likes her politics.
I bet they won’t release Charlie Manson when he has
So, color me not at all shocked that the terrorist enabling witch was released.
Watergater and Bill Clinton appointee.
Bharara served as the chief counsel to Senator Chuck Schumer. President “Hussein” made him a Federal DA.
You're talking about the Obama administration. They very well might. They might even put him in PJs to do an Obamacare ad.
So much for the silly assed rule of law.
Since when do federal judges get to exercise executive clemency?
Out of control federal judiciary.
A hog will do a much better job.
#5. Re lock her in small rock with a very hungry hog.
The hog wouldn’t stand a chance against this communist pig.
The left is so compassionate to the criminals aren’t they? If you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime. Unless you are a rat supporter, then it’s a free-for-all!
Rot in hell...aiding the enemy. There should have been a firing squad. Sometimes our justice system doesn’t do the job.
I’m rooting for the cancer. GO CANCER!
Bharara is a naturalized United States citizen. He is married to a Paskistani Muslim.
He is married to a Paskistani Muslim.
ROFL! Do it! Do it! Do it!
Into the river. Crabs gotta eat too.
So, she conspired with the radical, “Blind Shiek,” the guy that tried to bring down the WTC tower back in 1993, was found guilty, and now we are going to release her because she is dying from cancer?
IMHO, we were compassionate already because we did not fry her, hang her, or put her in front of a firing squad like she deserved.
Sounds like when the UK released Abdelbaset al-Megrahi, the guy that brought down Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, because he had cancer and was supposed to die any moment...then went home to a hero’s welcome and lived another three years.
We have the enemy within the gates.
America at the Crossroads of History
They shouldn’t break precedent .... they should release her in Libya to loving friends, fellow Muslims and co-conspirators.
So,...after a good jerk cut the rope.
Taken a page from the Scottish law on compassion aka the Lockerbee bomber. Their compassion is worth more than others compassion.
She did get 28 months, but was re-sentenced to 10 yrs in 2010.
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Wouldn’t it be cheaper just to put those black robes on chimps?
“Wouldnt it be cheaper just to put those black robes on chimps?”
But, they did.
Just let them all out. And walk them to the pig pen. Feed them to the pigs.
release her to any muslim or communist country that she wishes to go to....About 1/2 way there, a malfunction could possibly occur with the aircraft....and only the pilot happens to have a parachute.....accidents happen like in fort marcy park ....
“The U.S. government requested the release earlier in the day for Lynne Stewart, who was convicted in a terrorism case from prison.”
Some more great writing
I had thought that treason was a capital offense. Why is this woman still breathing air?
Because she is a hero to the left.
