I draw no conclusions from a single incident or report. But facts in the aggregate can be revealing.
I’d like to see more data about similar purchases in the past. How many doses? Dates purchased? Etc.
And as always, I want to know who benefits financially. Which admin official has a friend or family member in the potassium iodide business? Another of FLOTUS’s college buddies?

I will give another scenario that will make the movie “the hunger games” look prophetic.
The outlying districts away from Washington DC are ready to vote the rulers out. The 14 million rulers take their potassium while several nuclear “accidents” occur destroying most of the pop. except for enough slaves in districts 1-12 to service the people in the capital.

I agree with what you say. For my guys and I, it is only useful for residual fallout of prevailing winds. Past that, we’re fuq’d like everyone else.
14 million doses. It takes a couple “doses” a day across many weeks to be effective for longevity in an area suspect or confirmed contaminated. If it is as you posit, then it is enough for a bug out plan; i.e., we would be abandoning the west coast with the “party” players getting safe rides out.

One more thing to worry about........or not.
There are so many concerns now, perhaps we should split them up. I volunteer for killer bee infestations. Any volunteers for Yellowstone eruption, Fast and Furious, Benghazi, illegal immigrants, Obamacare, etc..........my mind boggles.

My town issues them from time to time through the schools. We live near a nuke plant. Not sure if they actually work or it’s just something to calm the people.
