Ship involved in Antarctic rescue faces trouble (icebreaker stuck)

CANBERRA, Australia — An Australian icebreaker carrying 52 passengers who were retrieved from an icebound ship in the Antarctic was told to halt its journey home on Friday after a Chinese vessel involved in the dramatic rescue became concerned that it, too, may get stuck in the heavy sea ice.

**SNIP**

But on Friday afternoon, the crew of a Chinese icebreaker that had provided the helicopter said they were worried about their own ship's ability to move through the ice. The Aurora — which was carrying the passengers to the Australian island state of Tasmania — was told to stay in the area in case the Chinese icebreaker Snow Dragon needs help, according to the Australian Maritime Safety Authority's Rescue Coordination Centre, which oversaw the rescue.

Will they be charged in international court once the ice shifts and crushes the ship thus causing the fuel and oil to pollute the Antarctic?

Or is this a solar powered ship?

I was just going to ask, are these ships expected to be destroyed by the ice?

Send the bills for the rescue to Professor Chris Turney.

Once you add up all the time for the multiple icebreakers involved, the helecopter rescue, the fuel burned, the supplies consumed, etc. his foolish mission of discovery to document Global Warming damage to the ice sheild could turn out to be an expensive ego trip.

Since the sole purpose of the “expedition” was to study global warming (something the news media whores fail to explain in their constant new coverage) wouldn’t it be ironic if the ice claimed its “victim” and sent it to the bottom of the sea once it has been crushed completely and beyond repair. “There, that is what global warming does to idiots”

Speaking of Algore, there is only about 2 years left on the Armageddon clock that Rush Limbaugh has been running since Gore made his dire prediction in January 2006.

Does he have trip to the Sun planned yet?

"This was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow, and our planet began to heal.

Welcome King Barack "Canute" Obama the Great.....

...Obama issues an Executive Order to the Sun...

....to increase it's magnetic field....

and make a good crop of sunspots before elections in 2016....

(PhysOrg.com) -- Sunspot formation is triggered by a magnetic field, which scientists say is steadily declining. They predict that by 2016 there may be no remaining sunspots, and the sun may stay spotless for several decades.

The last time the sunspots disappeared altogether was in the 17th and 18th century, and coincided with a lengthy cool period on the planet known as the Little Ice Age....and lasted 400 years.

Good luck surviving with no electricity and GE modified seeds.

How many times do you have to get stuck in unusually severe summer Antarctic ice to stop saying there is global warming?
I get the feeling God is trying to tell them THERE IS NO GLOBAL WARMING. And because they are hard-headed and stubborn, he keeps sticking it to them.

It’s becoming obvious now. Pagans do sacrifices to appease their gods. Have the globull warmists done this recently?

The goddess Gaia (or whatever her name is)needs a sacrifice.

Throw the mad scientist overboard to appease her.
The ice will part creating a safe path for the stuck breaker ships.

Come to think of it, Moses would be useful here. He can part the seas and even his burning bush would be helpful.

Prayers for the crew in all the stuck ships.
