A quaint tourist town in Washington State has become divided over a coffee stand run by scantily clad bikini-wearing baristas.
At the center of the dispute is Meghan Calavan, owner of the Sips Ahoy coffee stand, and a female resident of Anacortes who accused Calavan of making offensive comments about her weight.
The argument between the two women has caught the attention of local authorities, has compelled members of the community to engage in fist fights and has threatened the survival of the popular sailor-themed bikini barista stand.
The feud first began on Facebook when Jesseka Kathleen Cladek posted on the Sips Ahoy page that the business was a “run down whore house.”
Meghan Calavan’s father, Kelly defended his daughter’s honor and came to the coffee stand’s defense.
He wrote that Cladek was “a huge fat b—- that no one would want to see in a bikini.”
The elder Calavan added, “She is just jealous of you beautiful fine lady’s!!.She looks like a fat pugsly Addams!!! [sic].”
Meghan Calavan also joined the argument on the company’s page. She posted that Cladek was “just jealous cause she’s fat and ugly and always will be. She’s gross lol look at her pictures. Her arms are the size of my thigh lollololol”

I root for liberty. The cops had no right to tell anyone what to post or not post. As for the coffee shop: meh. Let the market decide.

The entire Facebook page for the shop has been pulled down (while the “boycott” page remains), and there is no indication in any of the stories who did that. But it is reported the cops ordered a comment to be removed. I think it’s revolting that are so bored that they would insert themselves into a catfight. Don’t they have somebody’s dog to shoot? A parking ticket to write?
I guess if somebody pointed a gun at my head and forced me to choose....
(I do wish she’d go downtown and pay somebody’s rat a quarter to chew that thing off.)
The whole thing is over-the-top stupid. They’re trying to make a case that the “fat girl” is being bullied. In reality it’s just two ignorant people competing to see who can hurl the nastiest insults.
The fat chick is not somebody they want as a customer anyway.
Getting this fight covered by the news media thus making even more people aware that there exists a "bikini coffee shop" in the area = priceless.
Amen - the only facial piercing i don’t hate is the tiny lil diamond stud some chicks will put on the side of their nose. Not a ring, but just a little gem, looks like the female equivalent of gleaming tooth when a hero smiles
IOW, a typical teenage girl catfight. And the cops had to involve themselves.
