Bitcoin technology has the potential to revolutionise the way we buy and sell property, enforce legal documents and even place bets, according to a new report from financial services and investment firm Wedbush Securities.

The system of decentralized trust, meaning that there is no central authority, that underpins bitcoin could have applications beyond the payments world that is most commonly associated with the cryptocurrency, write the report’s authors Gil Luria and Aaron Turner. The report reads:

“We see the potential for bitcoin technology to digitize and decentralize trust. The implications of eliminating the need for centralized trust may go beyond payment networks to areas such as securities markets, sports gambling and even legal contracts.”

I’ll stick with gold and silver. After the SHTF I don’t think bitcoin is going to be relevant. If you can’t hold it in your hand and its not made of PM fogeddaboutit.

A currency that cannot be manipulated by the banksters and the big-government/big-corporate criminal complex would be their worst nightmare.

Indeed! It would almost make the need for their services unnecessary.

The government is trying desperately to figure out if this is a currency, an investment, a means of sending money, or a ponzi scheme. Either way, owning them is going to be a problem.

The governments and central banks not only can’t figure it out, they don’t know what to do about it or if they even can. Meanwhile, it’s gaining more and more ground on the old way of doing things daily.

Sounds like a good way to launder some money.

No more so than stocks, bonds, ETFs, or anything else that can be transacted outside of the country where originally purchased.

Bitcoin...big deal. The coming big new financial wrinkle will be crowd funding for innovative ideas that will result in an explosion of new products, technology and interpreneurial freedom from the dictates of the globalist oligarchic financial/banking system.

It is not like I have a lot of faith in green backs but I wouldn’t put a penny in bitcoin. The US government WILL shut it down. It’s only a matter of time.
