If Noaha and his family were white, please explain the different races through out the world, how does that happen in a few thousand years.
You’re assuming only “evolution” can do this. Get out of that rut.
I am not assuming anything, I have yet to hear any plausible explanation from anyone as to how the different races came about. It sure wasn’t from some black woman in Africa and I highly doubt the flood story anyhow. I take it you are a young earth believer?
Your rebuttal to the statement that you appear to be only accepting scientific results that fit your theological world view is to present another example of how you do that?
The article is wrong. Those believing 6000 years are followers of Bishop Usher who strained and strained to produce a chain of calculations to develop his THEORY
Six thousand years is just a theory
“Six thousand years is just a theory”
Not a scientific theory, so probably best to avoid using the word theory. Enough confusion over that word already.
His book is quite interesting. The science is indisputable, based upon the Periodic Table. I doubt you will ever read it. Luke 19:40
If one believes that God is all knowing, all powerful, all present, all just, all merciful, all loving, eternal Creator of the Universe, God With Us, then yes one’s world view is biased towards these truths.
But if one thinks of God as intellectually deceitful, powerless, absent from human history, cruel when in human history, can’t even write a book, etc , then one doesn’t have any bias at all? No, that intellectual tradition has motives pure as the driven snow .
This all presupposes that being unbiased is a virtue. Being “unbiased” reminds me of weak men who cannot take a risk or make a big decision. They will always be children, intellectually and spiritually.
