Yes, as we all know, someone just gave them the building and they are not responsible for anything and assume no risk at all. They just do it for their health.

He does seem to think that landlords are handed over buildings by Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy. I guess he’s a low information voter writing for the low information voter.
I’d love to sell him one of my buildings so he can experience first hand the joys of fixing toilets, leaky roofs, holes in the wall, drug traffic, tenants skipping out on the rent or worse not paying and staying put while they work the system and last but not least paying the mortgage.
That attitude toward landlords by renters is why I will NEVER, EVER own rental property. Talk about one version of being in hell.
