The government required people to register their guns, insisting it was for their own protection, a way of tracking down criminals that was supposed to cut down on crime.
In reality, however, it was merely a ruse to track down those patriots who might resist the coming tyranny.
So explains Kitty Werthmann in a speech going viral on the Internet, a story of her life in Austria right before the Nazi occupation of her home country in 1938. As she explains, her nation’s surrender to Nazi tyranny didn’t begin with the Anschluss, but with little steps like acquiescing to gun-control laws:
“Dictatorship didn’t happen overnight. I took five years, gradually, little by little, to escalate up to a dictatorship,” she said. “When the people fear the government, that’s tyranny. When the government fears the people, that’s you, that’s liberty. Keep your guns, keep your guns and buy more guns!”
Werthmann’s speech, delivered at the “Let Freedom Ring” tea-party rally in Woodstown, N.J., on June 28, 2011, has been frequently circulated via YouTube and other online channels for years, but picked up steam again after the National Rifle Association reposted it recently under the title “Hitler Survivor Condemns Gun Control.”
The clear implication in her speech is that modern-day Americans should beware gun-control laws that strip them of their ability to resist an overbearing government.
“In 1938, the media reported that Hitler rolled into Austria with tanks and guns and took us over. Not true at all,” she said. “The Austrian people elected Hitler by 98 percent of the vote, by means of the ballot box.
“You might ask, ‘How could a Christian nation … elect a monster like Hitler?’” she concinued. “The truth is, at the beginning Hitler didn’t look like or talk like a monster at all. He talked

The US Senate is analogous to a Jury of Peers who have the power to throw the Impeached perp off of the taxpayer gravy train, take away his residence, ban him from building a Library paid for by us, and ban him from using his personal Corporate Jet, Air Force One.

Only 6 states and DC require any type of registration, and federal law specifically prohibits utilizing the National Instant Background Check System (NICS) to create a registration list.
You know they don’t care a bit about “federal law” though. Everyone that’s been through the check, they have it on record. Not that I care. If it comes to registration I’m an outlaw on day one.
They DO understand- they know exactly what they are trying to do, and they are succeeding amazingly well. They own the schools, we own the guns.

In California Dianne Feinstein didn't want ANY of us to pack. SHE did, a Smith&Wesson because, she said, that when she went to visit her sick husband in the hospital at night she felt SAFER packing. Well duh!
SHE was allowed to pack; the rest of us could go to hell.
My husband DID pack. I didn't feel any safer because my husband would have TORN APART anyone even TRYING to hurt me.
But he did like packing. Where we walked every morning there were hundreds of dog and their walkers. Not all the dogs were good citizens. He packed because he would SHOOT any dog that was uncontrolled and killing OUR dogs.
Some urban morons had dogs that they have NO BUSINESS owning.

It should occur to you by now that some of Americans enthusiastically welcome a leftist tyranny and realize that taking guns away from rightist types is a necessary prerequisite for their socialist wet dreams.

However with regard to violent crimes, including mass murders taking place around America in our "gun free zones," here is an old tagline I was using in 2012 which I still find to be all too true:

Sorry to inform you, but there are many states where guns are not registered in any way. Background checks only show you had a background check. I have purchased multiple weapons on a single background check with cash. Also, there are still countless older guns that no one can track.
Why are you sorry? I like guns. My favorite was the little Berretta my husband taught me to shoot. I was able to shoot binLaden's beard 9/10 times from 10 feet away--that was good for me.
He had a bunch of pistols, even an over/under Air Force rifle. I THINK I remember right.
I think it's just fine that guns need not be registered. Please don't assume things about me. I am very clear. If I hated guns I would have said so. I am NOT subtle.
