January 5, 2014 11:01 AM 'It's a Mess': Rand Paul's Son Erroneously Enrolled in Medicaid By Eliana Johnson
His healthcare coverage under the Affordable Care Act was supposed to begin January 1, but Rand Paul on Sunday said he remains unsure if he and his family are covered. At least one member of the Paul family is, though, albeit erroneously. The Kentucky senator held up the Medicaid card his son received through the Kentucky exchange.
We didnt try to get him Medicaid, Im trying to pay for his insurance, Paul said, but they automatically enrolled him in Medicaid. For a month they wouldnt talk to him because they said they werent sure he existed. He had to go down to the welfare office, prove his existence, then next thing we know, we get a Medicaid card. Extrapolating from his sons experience, the senator argued that in Kentucky whose state-run exchange, set up with the support of Democratic governor Steve Beshear, has been heralded as a success many are being automatically, and erroneously, enrolled in Medicaid.
Paul went on to say that, despite repeated attempts, he has been unable to amend his online profile or confirm that his family is covered and he remains uncertain whether he is enrolled in the Kentucky exchange, the District of Columbias exchange, or both. Its a mess, he concluded.
It’s only going to get worse, the program is run by the left side of the Bell Curve.
When the DMV runs your health care...
Obamacare is dumping millionaires on Medicaid
judas priest
And this guy is a doctor, and a senator, and KY is supposed to have maybe the best exchange of them all! What chance does an ordinary person have?
Maryland:
130,000 added to medicaid
vs
18,000 added to private plans
I’m guessing someone inside the system did it intentionally.
That is a great stat. Can you tell me where you got it? I would like to make a graphic. Thanks.
"Those Democrats leering over my shoulder owe me bigtime. This
healthcare bill insures we have a permanent Democratic majority."
" All except those Tea Party types, swallowed hook, line and sinker my promises that they could:
(1) keep their existing health plans,
(2) keep their own doctors that they like,
(3) keep their 25-year-olds on the family health plan,
(4) never be denied coverage for a pre-existing condition,
(5) sign up instantly on my tech-savvy government Web site,
(6) buy insurance only after becoming seriously ill."
(7) save $2,500 in annual premiums in the bargain....
(8) All without any new taxes."
"Them sonovagun Tea Partiers will rue the day they criticized my wonderful bill."
Amazing. What could go wrong? /s
Spot on.
I hope Sarah and her family do this. It would be hilarious to see a video of her down at the Welfare office with little Trig being accidentally signed for Medicaid - or being drafted as the draft board used to do to blind people back in the 1960s.
The link is in my post here: They do a great job of hiding it but read entire article to find the numbers.

Libtards believe that people are helpless and the government is omniscient.
“Its only going to get worse, the program is run by the left side of the Bell Curve.”
Leftovers, from the TSA etc.
Advice:
If you live in a State that has expanded Medicaid (ie, greatly relaxed eligibility requirements) and you’ve visited healthcare.gov or your State’s exchange website, or if you’ve had any contact with a ‘navigator’ either in person or by phone .... try to find out if you’ve been automatically enrolled into Medicaid.
Especially if you have any assets (home, savings, pension, retirement account). If you were enrolled into Medicaid your assets may be at risk of Asset Recovery or liens may be placed against your property.
Find out.
LOLOLOL!
More than likely, somebody is using his son’s Social Security Account Number. He should check in to that.
