Secure America Now president Allen Roth, whose organization commissioned the poll, points to it as a major reason why he signed a letter to Boehner sent Monday that demands he stop obstructing the investigation and install a select committee.
"In a recent national poll, conducted by Democrat Pat Caddell and Republican John McLaughlin, 62% of Americans say it is important that Congress create a special committee to get to the truth about Benghazi,” Roth told Breitbart news in an email over the weekend before the letter became public...

If one assumes this poll is anywhere close to the truth, that is a staggering number. Half of Dems alone is significant. But all groups together is some serious poop.
I don’t know John McLaughlin but Pat Caddel has certainly earned my trust and respect over the years.
The majority gets what it wants, unless the majority wants something that’s at variance with what the NYC/DC elites want.
Yeah well America didn’t want Obamacare either and it was jammed down anyway.

I’d like to find the full poll results, including cross tabs. But even without that, it’s damning and makes Boehner and the GOP leadership look like crap for not going ahead with a select committee. A pox on them if they keep stonewalling.
Same here. For a Dem the guy (Pat C) is as straight up as it gets. The only issue I have with him is why he refuses to tell the party to ESAD. But as long as he keeps doing what he does, I’ll live with it.
We are at a crossroads. The Uniparty vs. America. I know a lot of people want to believe the GOP is still Reagean’s party. I was a Pubbie for many years and proud of it. But it is what it is.
The GOP of today will side with Dems as they always do. And Cruz and a handful of good people left there will not stop them. A pox on them indeed.

And she could be easily blown out of the water by anyone wishing to ignore the GOP telling them to shut up. Merely showing her lack of accomplishment from Ark to Bhenghazi and refusing to cower would do it.
