Doing way better. Doc keeping him in the hospital for a couple of days because of the medication they are putting him on.

I’m tired. Yesterday was crazy. I won’t bore you with the details. Wish I could take another day off. I need sleep!

Thank You Lord! Great news on mr s!

Please take care of yourself. The last thing Mr S needs is for you to be sick. Get your rest.

Just thinking..there has been some pretty serious flucuation in baromtric pressure. Maybe that was an issue for mr s.

Has the doggie decided to stay close to home after yesterday’s adventure?

Thanks p6. I have to take the doggie out on a leash now, since he escapes from the lead we put him on. Must be the cold, the clasp won’t close all the way, which is why he escaped. I swear, he hasn’t pooed in two days and his stomach is making funny gurgly noises. He won’t go while he’s on the leash. He wants to find the perfect spot. Trust me; I would much rather attach him to the teather at the door and let him out than stand there in the could with the leash while he decides to be picky about where he drops ‘the goods’!
I’ve already been out with him twice this morning. His paws got really cold and he came in and laid in front of the heat vent with his paws on the register! lol!

We just had a surprise. The water seems to be off. When I got home the water was runing slow. I left it on but now it’s stopped.

Looks like another interesting day...sigh.

Yeah, son called from Lawrenceville last night to say that their pipes were frozen. The people next door to them had frozen pipes as well. He said there was a whole bunch of people near them who had frozen pipes, according to the company they rent from. All old houses, of course. I’m glad we had the pipes rerouted several years ago. I remember many times in the corner of the old basement with a blow dryer trying to thaw them out!

Odd thing here is the basement isn’t cold. Even in this cold the furnace doesn’t run much because of the insulation and construction. Maybe there is a beak nearby.

Oh my...so sorry to hear that Mr S is in the hospital...prayers being sent your way right now! Do they think it was the cold wx or the flu-cold that caused the Afib?

Like everyone...the wx has been the worry. My youngest was supposed to be on a 2hr delay, but they (and neighboring districts) closed. My guess, all the buses won’t start. Snow tomorrow. Fun times.

After catching up from yesterday’s thread...sorry to hear kids have frozen pipes...I grew up in VERY OLD row house. We kept water trickling all the time and kept doors under kitchen sink always open. But I can remember having MY hair dryer get fried (during HS) to unfreeze pipes. Apparently my dad had NO concern for my hairstyle!

Was reading twitter yesterday. I follow Joe Bastardi and in addition to slapping down the warmists he gave a tiny look to ten day forecast...MORE VORTEX to come!

Just like winter of 77.

Yinz stay safe...prayers for Mr S coming home and for Mr and Mrs P6’ BOTH getting better.

PS...Quinn has been tweeting a lot (current events type stuff—mini show prep sorta items) today (Ijust checked). Oddly, he took a bunch of his photos down too. Only 1 is still up (the line at DeanDiamond When he and Rose were there). Seems like he is keeping the same “hours” as radio show via twitter.

Thanks for the well-wishes and prayers! He’s doing much better today. I sure does seem like a coinky-dink that his A-Fib kicks up when the weather is like this!

I’ll have to check out twitter more often. I’m still learning about the hash-tag thing and all that. do you post comments to Quinn’s tweets?

We were told that Johnny dog was in the police academy and was rejected. If you saw him you’d know why! He’s happy-go-lucky, chases shadows, doesn’t sit in one place long (except Mr. S chair when he’s tired) and is afraid of the cat.
He has abandonment issues if we leave him alone too long and he will smother you with kisses if you let him!

IOW, he fits in well with our family!
