It may be 'the law,' but Obamacare deserves no respect. (Pretty good take)

"To fans and defenders of the Affordable Care Act, the bill is your normal, run-of-the-mill but wholly fantastic and wonderful game-changing measure, up there with Social Security, Medicare and the Civil Rights and Voting Rights Acts as national milestones -- bills that were launched amid opposition and discord, but in time were accepted and loved.

But from the beginning, this has been different in three signal ways that have been self-destructive, the last of which may be the worst."

It needs to be taken off the books. All of it.

That is what they are counting on.
This should be treated like prohibition.
That was an amendment too, how hard can it
be to get this “law” off the books?

I'm not playing.

I had a perfectly-acceptable health insurance plan that was cancelled by Obamacare 12/31/13.

If I have to, I will just quit filing tax returns and run naked on health insurance until we come to our senses and get rid of this scum.

“...passed on a trick just this side of legal,...”

Was it legal or do people phrase it as above because they lack the balls to do something about it?

Even if you believe universal health care is a good thing for the country, Obamacare was the worst way to make that a reality.

Its a complete mess and the botched fixes applied underscore what it hasn’t achieved. Americans deserve timely and affordable health care. That’s a goal every decent American wants.

We want people to have good health and no one should die for lack of ability to pay. But we don’t think lying about the true costs of health care reform and selling a bill of goods to the Americans is going to ensure this is the rule in our country.

Obamacare is a bad idea and a terrible legislative product. It was rushed through on a straight party line vote without full scrutiny and through debate. The American people deserved better from their elected representatives in Washington.

We could have gotten a better health care law but the Obama Administration and the Democrats in all their arrogance insisted nothing needed to be fixed. Now the country has discovered its all a lie. There are plenty of things voters can forgive in their politicians. Deliberate deception ain’t one of them.

Obamacare in a word, is the Democratic Party’s gift that keeps on surprising people and not in a good way.

“It may be ‘the law,’ but Obamacare deserves no respect.)...... It may be the “law” and odumbo himself has no respect for any of our laws. That is his prerogative as “King” and he is damn well practicing it.

Excellent, ReaganÜberAlles. Expect no support from the whining, so-called conservatives who worship Mammon and never drag their fat asses out to show up at a town hall meeting.

You did good.

Roberts opinion is ludicrous, though binding for now. Justify the severe and unauthorized overreach of the Feds to govern local healthcare finance and delivery by focusing on an essentially thro away aspect of the law. What Roberts should have focused on is individuals forced to pay substantially more for policies to benefit the private welfare of Obama’s constituents. Is this justifiable under the commerce clause? Is it a tax? Or is it a penalty fine? Founders think Roberts is an arse.

Roberts directly contradicted himself. He upheld the law because it’s a tax, then rejected a plea that it’s a tax that violates the Constitution because it originated in the Senate.

A shame the country is circling the drain right now because of two illegally adopted children.

What Roberts should have focused on is individuals forced to pay substantially more for policies to benefit the private welfare of Obama’s constituents.

Some one should focus on the totally outrageous cost of healthcare, it bears absolutely no relationship to the salary of the individuals they service.

If it were not for insurance and government interference you could probably afford healthcare on your own.

When I was a kid, if turpentine or kerosene didn't fix it, oh well.

I agree; Roberts opinion is ludicrous
