Christie’s Waterloo

In the best possible light, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie built a top staff of lying thugs who threatened lives and safety to serve his political ends. If not, Christie is a lying thug himself.

Emails and text messages among his close aides made public Wednesday documented that in September they gleefully engineered George Washington Bridge lane closures to punish the Democratic mayor of Fort Lee for failing to endorse their boss’ reelection.

Local officials say the gridlock they caused delayed ambulances in responding to four calls, including one involving an unconscious 91-year-old woman who later died.

Well, yes, but he hasn’t made it official with the obligatory “I am joining the democrat party because I hate teabaggers and love muslims”

I’ll gridlock your town if ya don’t play our game...

And we don’t care if the ignorant tax payers are abused or die in process.

Government corruption, mobster style.

Sure, Christie is toast but Obama can outright sick the IRS on political opponents and he still walks on water.

Not likely. I would not vote for Christie in the primaries, but if he is the Republican nominee, I will vote for him in the general. Too many people stayed home in 2012 and we are suffering terribly because of it.

This is one of the problems common with blue state Republicans. They tend to be just as petty, vindictive, and corrupt as the Dems that they supplant. That’s the only game they know.

Notice how Obama is such a stand up guy, helping his new friend.

Hey, Christie you tried to buddy up with the Democrats and the MSM.

How do you like your new friends now?

If you want to get away with stuff you have to be a rat. The thing is the other rats don’t mind what a rat you are.

If we are suffering, it’s hard for me to argue that we don’t deserve it. America made its bed, now it gets to lie in it.

Jeb was a good governor here in FL, but no way on another Bush presidency.

I'm sure that 99% of Americans agree with you on that. Having 41 and 43 as presidents so close together in time, was already spooky enough. Gonna be a long time before that ever happens again.

Reince Priebus and Jeb Bush are crying and pissing themselves right now, too. Christie was Jeb’s stalking horse and now he’s toast.

I guess it’s a start for a future Dem. Christie blocked access to medical care for one person, 0-care will block access for millions.

I am not a Christie supporter but I don’t see much difference in this and what Obama did during the government shutdown. Just a little hypocrisy on the medias part.
