Mark Levin dismisses pay-to-play charge (by the National Republican Senatorial Committee)

Conservative talk-radio host Mark Levin is defending himself against charges that he engaged in a quid-pro-quo transaction with the Senate Conservatives Fund, promoting the right-wing group after it spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on his book.

Since Sept. 10, SCF has spent $427,000 on copies of Levin's "Liberty and Tyranny," according to Federal Election Committee filings. Those books were given to donors who provided $25 or more to the group.

In that time, Levin has frequently promoted the SCF on his show and on his Facebook page. "Senate Conservatives Fund is dedicated to electing true conservatives to the Senate!" Levin wrote in one post. Levin did not disclose the SCF's purchases to his listeners.

On Thursday, in response to a POLITICO report noting the SCF's purchases, National Republican Senatorial Committee Communications Director Brad Dayspring cast suspicion on the relationship between Levin and the SCF. Establishment leaders have frequently criticized the pro-tea party group of targeting Senate Republicans.

"Fishy: Senate Conservatives Fund spent hundreds of thousands of donor dollars to make Mark Levin's book a bestseller," Dayspring wrote on Twitter.

Wanna bet that NOT ONE of these progressives will have the balls to appear on his show and make the charge against him? Bob

They have declared war on conservatism, did you think they would leave conservative radio talk shows alone?

What a bunch of pathetic cowards. Licking the jack boots of Obama and cowering at any comment from the media, or any RAT, for that matter. And some fools still wonder where their government went....

POS (plural).

The gopE is dedicated to losing Presidential elections. I do not call them the GOPe as in elite. I call them the GOPL as in Democrat Lite..

I think Levin will be addressing this at the end of his show. I hope he eats their lunch.

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2011/oct/25/state-department-buys-70000-worth-obama-memoir/?page=all

The State Department has bought more than $70,000 worth of books authored by President Obama, sending out copies as Christmas gratuities and stocking “key libraries” around the world with “Dreams From My Father” more than a decade after its release.

A review of the expenditures in a federal database did not reveal any examples of State Department purchases of books by former Presidents George W. Bush or Bill Clinton. The purchases of Mr. Obama’s literary work mostly, but not always, took place in the months after Mr. Obama captured the White House.

The GOPe puts their foot in it again. Attacking the great one is likely backlash for the Krispy Kreme implosion up in New Jersey.

Yeah, but attacking Mark's integrity is like yanking on Wolverine's adamantium claws, its bound to spark a savage reaction.

This Dayspring creep is a real tool....

To: GeronL; what's up

Oh they are still here. You see people like What’s up on most threads dealing with the GOP screwing up and backstabbing us, making excuses for them. See his post history for all manner of excuses.

PS: Like most, he hates getting called out on it. Which should be happening each and every time one of them do it. If we can’t deal with our internal problems, I don’t see how we can deal with Americas.

So? They think alike and have a business relationship. What's the problem? Does anyone think he'd make a similar arrangement with the National Organization for Women, or Greenpeace? Must be a slow week at the country club.
