He wants to break and kill things but society frowns on that. My advice to him is go out and buy a good rifle & shotgun, get a hunting license, go hunting and ignore that so-called man hating society. The fresh air will do him good.
I know. I thought that there was something off about him.
Hopefully he’s pulling the numbers up for OR since they were way short compared to abc.
Before Christmas I had a dream that Scott Brown and Rudy Guiliani were the 2016 candidates, no Christie in evidence. I don’t put a lot of stock in dreams usually. I put it down to a story about Brown going to New Hampshire that was I probably thinking about before going to sleep. Still.
Good advice, but that caller has some potentially dangerous things lurking beneath his surface, which could explode if he doesn’t get deal with/rid of them.
It’s pretty common Rush. Politicians have threatened people for years with cutting back on emergency services if they don’t get their tax raises. Just another example of government punishing people who have no involvement in a political dispute.
JMHO, that individual has been playing way too many shoot-em-up video games.
I wouldn’t really want to be in the same time zone with him if he got hold of live ammunition. (Unless I had one of my toys handy to return fire.)
I had a different take on him, but would need to hear it again.
My take on him was that he lacks the courage of his convictions. He has allowed others to affect his thinking. The next caller with the critical thinking, conservative Prof. Dad was a good example of a manly man. He wasn’t willing to bend on his principles in order to be judged acceptable by his peers. He displayed courage. I hope the first caller heard that caller.
Speaking of manly things...

It’s the same with federal funding to states. I remember them withholding a portion of highway funds to states if the state didn’t pass seat belt laws or raising the drinking age. Blackmail is the proper term for it.
I’ve come to despise all governments, local, state and federal. It is all corrupt.
Rush seems very sensitive to these type of news stories such as “success is bad for your health.” He seems to think that they’re more prevalent when it’s politically advantageous to a Democrat president. But I think they’re just more prevalent during slow news times. There were these kinds of stories during the Bush administration, too, I’m sure. But he probably wasn’t looking for them. Not everything is about politics.
Seattle-King Co. used to play the game with Medic 1. I think voters are wising up to it, thanks in part to local talk radio hosts. But it’s not quite the same thing as the Christie affair.
Total lack of stress means you’re dead, I heard once. Always remembered that.
Aw, shucks, - - - . Thanks.
Rush, wildebeests are also favorites of crocodiles, vultures and hyenas. MMMMMMMMMMMMMM gooooooooooood. Tasty!
“Wildebeests standing around watching one of their own getting eaten by a lion”.
Good analogy!
Your definition of sanity is also consistent with the effects of political brain-washing, a speciality of the Leftstream Media.
You are right - they are happy to continue this course since they are getting what they want. Why would they stop? We assume they should not want the result, but they are a difference species.
In Science it is called “The Path of Least Resistance;” in our day to day lives it is called “Murphy’s Law;” in our Society it is called “What is the least that I have to do to get the most that I can from the Government?”
No longer do we hear a politician saying and then doing the following:
“ASK NOT WHAT YOUR COUNTRY CAN DO FOR YOU, ASK RATHER, WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR COUNTRY!”
