A representative for Knox had to step in to save her from her own statements to the newspaper.
That's when you shut up unless you are too stupid to do it.
I don’t blame her either.....even though I never though she was the sweet saintly girl some wanted to portray her as....to me, she seemed like a spoiled rich girl who got the freedom and the cash to wander around Europe instead of working like many college age students....
Meridith is dead.....she suffered a horrible death...if I were her mother or father I’d fight tooth and nail to punishe those even remotely connected with her death...
Because if Amanda Knox is white, Eric Holder will extradite her and throw in a few extra charges, to boot.
If Amanda Knox is BLACK, Eric Holder will instruct Obama to train nuclear missiles on Italy.
How was Amanda connected? Amanda was her roommate, but that doesn’t mean that Amanda killed her or had anything to do with it.
She’s making it clear that if she is ordered to come to Italy, that she will avoid going there if she can since she is after all, innocent and is for some sick reason being punished.
She has every right to make it clear where she stands and this is brave of her.
If it was so brave of her then why did her representative have to step in and “clarify” what she said.
Maybe Italy should focus on the African transient with blood all over his hands and leave Amanda Knox alone. Just a suggestion.

If they had less African transients then I believe that they would have a lot less murders.
Likely because her rep is paranoid; Amanda is just being reactive and I don’t blame her for saying incendiary stuff.
The Italian prosecutor, Giuliano Mignini, is an absolute corrupt nut job who should be in jail himself. Read The Monster of Florence. It will give you a lot of background on how corrupt and whacky the Italian criminal justice system is. Amanda Knox was/is a naive kookie west coast college kid who acted weird at times and got sucked into the madness of the Perugian justice system. The bottom line is that they did not find her DNA in the room where the murder took place, yet Rudy Guede’s DNA was all over the room. Mignini tried to say that she was able to clean her and her boyfriend’s DNA up, but left Guede’s behind! Yeah right, these college kids cleaned up there magic DNA, but left his behind. What a joke!!
When you are out on bail as she essentially is you don’t say incendiary stuff like I’m going to run because that is often taken by the courts to be a threat to them, and a sign of guilt, and a reason for the revocation of bail.
Her representative here was probably her lawyer who she and you should listen to.
Yet double jeopardy is unconstitutional and the Italian courts have no right to end up trying to convict her this time around.
To me, that is the whole point, not her comments.
