MSNBC: December Jobs Report Is ‘Awful,’ ‘Very Bad,’ And ‘Ugly’
Washington Free Beacon ^ | 01-09-2014 | Staff

Posted on 01/10/2014 10:14:10 AM PST by Red Badger

MSNBC admitted that the December jobs report was dismal Friday.

CNBC’s Michelle Caruso-Cabrera announced the newly released report number. Only 74,000 jobs were created in December, a number that fell significantly short of the 200,000 anticipated created jobs.

Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough commented “That’s a horrific number” and said that the newly added jobs number is the lowest seen in years.

Caruso-Cabrera confirmed Scarborough’s statement, saying that the newly added jobs number is in fact the lowest since January of 2011 and the number was “very, very bad.”

I’m not sure how long they can keep manipulating numbers and changing formulas to rig the stats. From Unemployment to inflation to insured to subsidy recipients and the poverty stats..... It’s hard to believe anything we hear anymore.

Yet the reported unemployment rate was reduced to 6.7% because they decided to quit counting a half million people without jobs as unemployed. Thus, over a period when there was a net increase of people without jobs the unemployment rate fell. And we are supposed to believe this BS.

"And the WH will continue to say we’re in a recovery,,and the MSNBC bootlickers will agree unanimously!"

It's a "Barack-ery", a new economic state that is both a wonderful rainbows-and-unicorns economic recovery that is all due to the work of Dear Leader, and requires extension of unemployment benefits to allow people to stay on the dole for a couple more years.

This is the private sector trying to survive and adjusting their behavior due to Obama laws by shedding people, cost and size.
I know of a transportation company not hiring new drivers dropping the whole thing to under 50 employees to avoid Obamacare.
Then there are all the taxes and new RE taxes in Obamacare.
Also, who gets all the new taxes and fines?

A difficult day for the liberals at MSNBC, they didn't know whether to call the jobs report good in an attempt to claim Obama has “turned the economy around” or make it look awful in an attempt to push Obama’s extended unemployment benefits plan. It looks like they choose the later....

The reason they appointed Yellen at the Feds is because she is a feminist stooge, just like Obama. Thus she helps divide the masses between genuine critics and idiots held hostage to welfare, gender and race inadequacies and psychedelics.

Be afraid, be very afraid, if she is there it means something bad is brewing.

Yes, they play with numerators and denominators. The Soviets sent the unemployed to death camps. We do similar games with assessment of the labor force, saying it is good to retire idle or be unemployed.

It is all death based economics.

The only employment figure that you should bother with is the Employment/Population Ratio. It's the only one that can't be jiggered for political reasons. Simply take the number of people with jobs and divide by the total population. This is what it looks like:

What in the world happened in 2008 to cause that disastrous drop?

None of this matters. Nothing’s going to change. The American people are hopelessly dumbed down. I just returned from a visit to my hometown, Pittsburgh, now called the People’s Republic of Pittsburgh. They are so indoctrinated and intoxicated with socialism, they are beyond hope. While many of them profess their dislike for Obama, they are fully on board with all his principles-—the reason for all of their problems is because the government isn’t doing enough. And it crosses all lines-—race, age, gender, etc. We’re screwed.

All of that quantitative easing money went into a propped-up stock market that now has no correlation to the inability to get ahead for most US citizens. And that money will disappear into thin air (which is where it came from) when stockholders cash out.

And the US taxpayer holds the bill for the bogus "lending" of money that went into the stock market. How dumb can the financial planners be?
