How Bad Is Obama's Jobs Record? Let's Count The Ways
Investor's Business Daily ^ | Jan 10, 2014 | IBD Editorial

Posted on 01/10/2014 11:54:25 PM PST by Innovative

The number of jobs created in December was the lowest in three years, and while the official unemployment number dropped to 6.7%, that was almost entirely due to more than half a million people giving up looking for work.

So, for some badly needed perspective, we've created Obama's Jobs Index to show how Obama's policies have failed to create adequate job growth.

When you sit down and examine the President’s resume, and the next fifteen people around him (his personal staff of advisers, not the cabinet guys)...the one remarkable thing from the first four years...almost no one with foreign policy or business or finance experience. So, you ask now....five years into this deal....where is the success of our foreign policy and our upswing on the jobs market? And the answer? Nowhere. Folks didn’t ask for competence....they asked for someone who gives good speeches, and they got that team.

This is almost identical to the Roosevelt era. Nothing with the depression really ended....until he was completely gone. We are basically waiting for 2017 to roll around.

Those are some damning statistics. But never fear, the Odumbo administration business experts are working on the spin that will show these stats in a positive light and say they are still trying to fix the mess that Bush caused.

It didn’t start with PRESIDENT Obama. Remember, it was Senator Obama who joined the Obstructionist Democrats in blocking Republican efforts to reel in Fannie and Freddie. And it was attorney-at-law Obama who fought to force mortgage companies to give loans to people who couldn’t afford them.

Barney Frank and IIRC, Maxine Waters, were the primary backstops to preventing Bush from reining in FM and FM.

I remember Maxine saying “what a wonderful job Mr. Franklin Raines and Jim Johnson have done there.”

Franklin Raines, James Johnson, and Jaime Gorelick were all CEOs or similar of these two government sponsored private entities. They ‘earn’ $50 MILLION, $21 MILLION, and $26 MILLION in salary and bonuses for their excellent work in driving this country to the brink of disaster in 2009.

One might remember Ms Gorelick; she is the No. 2 Clinton DoJ official who put up the intelligence wall between the FBI and CIA that significantly contributed to the failure of this country to discover events and actions leading up to September 11, 2001.

I’m beginning to think that mass unemployment among the MSM would help our economy dramatically. It would stop them pimping, covering and lying for 0bama’s lousy, incompetent criminal record as President.

I am not a fan of the President nor of FDR but unlike Obama FDR had did have relevant experience when he became president. He spoke German and French. He had made frequent visits to Europe, he had been a state senator, a pretty good governor of New York and under secretary of the Navy. He did not have business experience but was wise enough to place business people in his cabinet.

Let's all be fair to the uninformed voters (That means “Takers”). They have no comprehension or understanding of statistics, DO however understand "Free Sh@t", as they call it. That is what they want, what they think they deserve and that is what odumbo gives them so they will once more close their small minds and vote for him and the demodummies. He can/will tell them anything they want to hear and when he fails to deliver, the beg for more. Dumb asses.

Economic statistics can be manipulated, but reality can’t be.

The true state of our economy is revealed every day by the long lines of job seekers waiting in the cold outside businesses that have advertised for a few workers.

It is also revealed every day by the record number of poor people seeking meals at hunger shelters.

Yet the news media adamantly refuses to cover this reality.

During the Great Depression, when honest journalism still existed, the media never ceased from presenting the reality of long bread lines and overflowing soup kitchens, but in our present age of pro-Obama propaganda, all the media does during our current Depression II is feed the hungry and jobless with Obama-manipulated statistics to hide the grim reality we’re living through.
