SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — A California lawmaker wants to use a state version of the Affordable Care Act to provide health care access to immigrants who are in the state illegally.
Sen. Ricardo Lara, D-Bell Gardens, said if the goal of the federal health care law is to provide coverage to the uninsured, then immigration status should be irrelevant.

Providing “free” health care sounds like a noble cause, but free is not free, what it means is those that are working to support their family will have money taken from them to give to these illegals.
Simple solution to illegal health problems, send them home.

How is this fair? Why should people who happen through no fault of their own to be outside California or the US have no free health care? There is a whole,continent in Africa that could use great free health care. Why stop at only foreigners who are pretty close to california?
It should not. And a new entitlement for people who pay little or no taxes. At some point a California state or federal judge Proposition will rule Proposition 13 unconstitutional and we will see a massive increases in property taxes to pay for all the new social spending that will be occurring.
Perhaps an EBT card with enough funds for any cosmetic surgery they may deem desirable that year.

Why stop there? If the goal is to destroy the United States, then any law might as well be irrelevant. Heck, let’s give them free food as well, because as the left is fond of saying about healthcare, sooner or later everybody needs food. So it should be free.
