Hezbollah has dramatically improved its missile capabilities and can pinpoint targets anywhere in Israel, a senior commander in Iran’s Revolutionary Guards threatened on Saturday, according to The Associated Press (AP).

General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the head of the Guard’s aerospace division, said that Israelis would see the armed group’s increased strength should there be war.

In comments posted on the Guard’s website, he said, “Hezbollah’s capability has improved so tremendously in recent years that it can hit and destroy any target in the occupied lands with very little inaccuracy and pinpoint ability.” …

May God protect Israel, and kill Islam.

There’s no ruling authority that can curb Iran’s threats? Why does Israel have to suffer all these threats? The UN can’t do anything about Iran’s threats?

The UN, really? The organization that installed a Nazi as its own secretary general and let him declare Zionism “racism”, that UN?

Israel, unlike Iran, Pakistan, India and North Korea, has both thermonuclear and nuclear weapons, some of which are stationed on submarines.

Well, the people like Hezbollah “love death”, so they’d be all the more pleased if they could have egged Israel towards using their nukes, figuring it’d speed the big war that induces the Mahdi’s return.

I have no doubt with Syria flooded with Iran’s Revolutionary Guard backup battalions, some of that equipment will be shifted to Lebanese bases after the conflict subsides, in preparation for a preemptive strike by Israel.

Do we have any idea what kind of chemical weapons Iran may have? Is it not possible Hezbollah might well be a much more potent force than they were four years ago?

If I were Iran, preparing for war, I would have my proxy strike force in Lebanon fully equipped for missile attacks and guerrilla warfare by at least June/July. I’d have the most destructive explosive weapons available in that region and the Revolutionary Guard preparing Hezbollah for an Israeli invasion.

Should Israel make plans to hit Iran’s nuclear facilities from the air, likely via Azerbaijan or perhaps Saudi Arabia, then before even waiting for the rocket strikes from Lebanon the Israeli military will invade and occupy the country, going head to head with Hezbollah in the streets.

The UN hates Israel. Also, how many times a year does North Korea threaten to turn the south into a ‘sea of fire’ or nuke Austin Texas? No consequences there either.

Hezbollah make Hamas look like girl scouts. Removing them from Lebanon in a preemptive strike might be like removing the Viet Cong from Indochina. Order the napalm.

You seriously looking for a human one-world government to solve this problem? We’re supposed to look to God, not men.

Iran has positioned mobile short range ballistic missiles in Syria. These missiles if launched would strike Israeli targets in less than forty seconds. They would be virtually impossible to stop. If Israel does attack Iran, it will face a devastating counterattack. An Israeli solo attack is not likely to be successful, and may result in severe damage and many casualties in Israel. Obama has made it clear he has absolutely no intentions of joining an Israeli attack on Iran. Netanyahu is facing a very difficult strategic reality.

Are Iranian rockets safe inside Syria with the civil war ongoing? Which regions are they in?

With Saudi Arabia becoming more and more agitated, I can actually see them facilitating an Israeli airstrike which they were loathed to do before, but a joint offensive by the Saudis and Israel could go bad very quickly, especially since (thanks to OBungle) Iraq is now a Shiite client state. Iran has the 8th largest military in the world, when you factor in paramilitary assets and reserves. Surprisingly, they lead even the USA in this regard. Even when it comes to simply the standing army, they remain in 8th place.

If Iran launched an invasion of the Arabian peninsula in order to cut off Israel’s ability to strike from the air due to the long distances required going around the peninsula, they would be in real trouble. My guess is it would come down to how badly Hezbollah could damage the Israeli military before they controlled Lebanon. If they prove to be a potent threat, Israel could run out of time as Iran closes in.

India tested a thermonuclear device in 1998.

Pakistan most likely has Chinese-designed thermonuclear devices.

Israel hasn’t tested any of its devices barring a speculative joint South African-Israeli incident.

This is one among many reasons why Israel chickened out from attacking Iran when tensions were boiling over a couple of months ago. People with a video game-esque idea of reality struggle to grasp with the fact that Israel is not all-powerful. Russia is another major factor stumbling Israeli plans for Iran.

Israel can drop just 1 thermo-nuclear device on Teheran and that will ensure their survival for thousand more years. All of the Iran supported puppets like Hezbollah, and insurgents in Iraq, Syria & Lebanon will drop like flies without Iran’s support.

UN hates Israel anyway, so let them stew in their hate. They are powerless to do any retaliation to Israel.
