Getting rid of Christie would definitely speak truth to power. The media would change the subject as if the GOP was fighting amongst themselves.

When someone farts in New York/New Jersey it is a national crisis! On 9/11/2001 when the secret service sent George Bush out harms way he was a coward said the press; on 9/11/2012 when Obama was informed that the American Libyan Ambassador and other Americans were under siege, the Kenyan American president continued to supervise the laying out of his costumes for the fund raiser in California the next day; the press showed no curiosity (and continues to criticize those who do) regarding the abandonment of the Americans and their murders.
Fella tis t Press.

I don’t think the author is making light of the “traffic jam” so much as he is pointing out the hypocrisy of the media. Shutting down a bridge so as to punish political foes is certainly bad, but so is using the IRS to do the same. I should add that the IRS fiasco is hardly the only incident either (as the author points out). The current administration is rife with corruption and has politicized nearly every agency and department.

Just like the Democrats, when a RINO abuses his power, his minions will just joke about how insignificant it is.

We can’t expect the libs to clean up their act, when the RINOs just laugh when they are caught up in similar scandals.

What Christie did was to abuse his powers to punish his enemies. Anyone who believes Christie didn’t have a hand in this is just as naive as the minions who don’t think Obama had a hand in any of his scandals.

Yes the libs are making political hay about this. But then hypocrisy is their middle name. Conservatives are held to a higher standard. We should be. We are a responsible lot.

"To CNN, thank you! Your wall-to-wall coverage in this time of national tragedy has been second to none. The courage you’ve shown in uncluttering your airwaves of the “phony scandals” you’ve been covering over the past five years so we could know more and more and more about this is commendable. I do fear for the health of Wolf Blitzer. Yes, there is not a more trusted voice on the scourge of traffic, but the man needs his sleep. He has been hyperventilating for what seems like 36 straight hours. Please, make sure he stays hydrated and gets some rest. We will need him if, God forbid, some other random New Jersey Democrat says something about Chris Christie. "

Whether liberals are hypocrites and whether Chris Christie is a damned RINO who undoubtedly abused the power of his office and ought to suffer for it are two completely separate propositions.

I have been a victim of Honolulu traffic. But it’s Bush’s fault.
