Was this guy on drugs of some sort? A “bit of the flu “? He wasn’t hitting the cough syrup too hard was he? Calling the cops umpteen times too. Not a good sign.
He is more Libertarian than conservative, and an avowed “supporter” of marijuana & personal drug use in general ... it doesn’t bolster his position a lot here.
The big-picture view as this story unfolds is to see how it’s seized upon by those advocating further restrictions on our rights, and not let a special case dictate policy.
