#MISen Poll: Land (R) up 8 points over Peters (D)
Conservative Intel ^ | 1/13/14 | David Freddoso

With pundits focused on higher-profile Senate races in the South and West, a new Conservative Intel/Harper Poll shows that Republicans have a very serious pickup opportunity in the Midwest.

The early poll of 1,004 likely Michigan voters, conducted January 7th and 8th by Harper Polling, shows Republican former Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land (at right) leading Democratic U.S. Rep. Gary Peters (below), 44 to 36 percent.

Nice to see that Terri Land has some fight in her.

Just don’t let her (or conservatives in the state) relax. We all know how good the Dems are at manufacturing/stealing votes. Ms. Land needs to be multiple-double-digits ahead in polls so she succeeds on election day.

She’s a pro. She’s won statewide elections, has GOPe backing and is tea party friendly. (Tea partiers elected her to the RNC)

Michigan is in GOP hands and we have an Attorney general and secretary of state who take vote fraud seriously and have squashed every attempt in the last couple of years. Its the primary reason Detroit has their first white (D) mayor in 50 years. They denied him ballot access so he ran as a write in. When he won the primary they tried to strip him of his votes but the state made them count them. He won the general election by a wide margin.

This is good news. Peters got elected to the House twice for my district, supported Obozocare and is otherwise a typical goose-stepping Obama follower. I wrote him a scathing letter a couple years back which of course he pitched, but it felt good just to write it.

GOP elected office holders with BALLS? What’s in the water over there in MI?

The AG and SOS were both targets of fraud in 2008.

Is Land a true conservative? If so, I may donate to her.

She comes from the establishment but is very tea party friendly. She’s not a firebrand but has integrity.

The day after the 2012 election, Obama’s illegal DREAMers showed up at Ruth Johnson’s SOS office demanding driver’s licenses.

She stood there and told them to take it up with Obama because he’s the one who put them in legal limbo and it wasn’t her job to fix it and she wasn’t going to give them driver’s licenses till they had some kind of legal status.

From what I understand the Michigan GOPe is out to purge the Tea Party national committeeman in that state and what is Terri Land’s position on that and Congressman Justin Amash, one of the ten members of the House who opposed Boehner’s tax and spend leadership of the House?

95 percent of the GOP officials we elect are GOPe and she has held at least two elected offices, one in RINO President Gerald Ford’s home turf (Kent County) before MI Secretary of State.

Which side is she on???????

HOLY MOLY! That’s insane!

If Land has that kind of lead, what will the polling reveal in states like NC and LA. Ladies and gentlemen, this year may be a WAVE!

Stood with us on the tough votes that happened in the fall and winter (not that she was voting, but every potential senate candidate was questioned on if they supported Cruz. She did)

Amash will not lose his seat. I’ve no doubt about that from a pure pundit perspective (I’m not his biggest fan). He’s a good fundraiser and knows how to keep the public on his side.
