Catherine Engelbrecht’s tale has all the markings of a classic conspiracy theory: She says she thinks that because of her peaceful political activity, she and her family were targeted for scrutiny by hostile federal agencies.
Yet as news emerges that the Internal Revenue Service wielded its power to obstruct conservative groups, Catherine’s story becomes credible — and chilling. It also raises questions about whether other federal agencies have used their executive powers to target those deemed political enemies.
Advertisement Before the Engelbrecht family’s three-year ordeal began, Catherine says, “I had no real expectation or preparation for the blood sport that American politics is.” Sounding weary on the phone, she continues: “It’s all been a through-the-looking-glass experience.”
Cleta Mitchell, a lawyer who specializes in representing conservative organizations, says that the Engelbrecht family’s experience is “just the tip of the iceberg. . . . I think there’s definitely a Chicago-politics-style enemies list in this administration, and I think it permeates this branch of the federal government.”
It is an impeachable offense!

They (gubmint) tried to close every lane to these folks’ business, and groups she formed to question said gubmint. But, there’s no scandal here - for this *scandal plagued* administration...got it?
Now there's a real impeachable offense.

I wouldn’t exactly call these organizations non-military public servants the way they’ve been buying up arms, ammo & armored vehicles.
Union goons. I worked with them for 19 long years, eventually... leaving a great paying job as I could no longer stomach their ways nor their philosophies. The words of the Indonesian / Kenyan in the white hut is beyond chilling and need capturing for posterity and public posting.

It is. He violated his job as protector of all citizens of his state regardless of party.
And with that, Obama should also be impeached for the exact same reason.
Party affliliation be damned. They are supposed leaders of the people. The minute they forget that is the minute they need to be removed from office.

In this administration “there ain’t no justice”, we don’t even have the republican party protecting our backs.
I wish we had more Ted Cruzs, Mike Lees who knew how to bet as much air and print time as the democrats and karl rove.
And he will use it against us. He’s already had his civilian security in Ft Worth,TX pulling people over to take a saliva test, “checking for drugs” and Galveston, TX at a ferry and boat dock, checking for ???. We already have the TSA checking AMERICANS for explosives, box cutters and any liquids, getting us ready for the Good STUFF, when his security force can enter our homes without a warrant.
I’ve seen pictures of our Forest Service people with military rifles, protecting ???, probably the green fluffy pine cone. Folks, if we can’t get the conservatives in dc to protect the American Idea, we’re in a world of trouble.
