A top city school official was on scene at the notorious “School of No” in Queens Monday to investigate shocking conditions, first exposed by The Post on Sunday, as angry parents and a City Council member demanded answers. “Every day, my son tells me all they do is watch TV all day long. I teach him how to read, but this school has not helped him at all. All they do is yell at the kids. I ask them why they are always yelling and the teachers say they have to because the principal is so strong on them,” griped Ivelisse Lantigua, 39, whose son is a second-grader at PS 106 in Far Rockaway. Sources said that fur-loving principal Marcella Sills has an abysmal attendance record and history of uncaring and bizarre behavior.

...angry parents and a City Council member demanded answers..

Curious how *now* they are angry and demand answers after it's plastered on the headlines in the New York Post. Yes ladies and gentlemen, they had absolutely no idea about any of this until the NY Post made them aware. And now they are angry and shocked. Gee I wonder why....

You don't know. She might have something else to do. Judge not. Let's move on. What difference does it make? And so forth.

She looks like she is about to open a can of whoopass on the person holding the camera. Hell the way she looks she oughta be able to scare the kids into learning.

The state of New York schools was uncovered years ago with a story on 60 Minutes of a unionized custodian whose office was his yacht out in the harbor.

There’s no excuse for the teachers not teaching or the parents camping out in their kids’ classrooms to make sure they’re being taught. There’s nothing stopping the parents from reporting this to the school board for the past half dozen years. There’s nothing wrong with not forking over $110 for a ridiculous cotillion. Put the word out that there’s going to be a party at the local park, bring a bag of chips or soft drinks and be done with it.

I wonder if the school board would have actually done anthing. Most here in MN are just shills for the union.

“This is a school where children are given a free breakfast and free lunch, and you’re asking them to pay money for a lavish, unnecessary event.” As the school put on a yearly formal ball, kids don’t have basic school necessities. “Some children didn’t have materials because their parents couldn’t afford them,” a former teacher said. “It was a struggle and a fight to get crayons, pencils and a notebook.”

The 'Teachers Union' will support her...

She’ll probably wind up school superintendent. I wonder if she’s getting kick backs from the formal wear places?

Wrong, O Paint 'Em With a Broad Indiscriminate Brush One.

Principals and other administrators belong to a totally DIFFERENT union than teachers. Better study up before you start slinging snarky remarks and embarrass yourself. The TEACHERS had NOTHING to do with this b___h, except to try and stay out of her incompetent criminal way.
