The sales job is on for a bipartisan $1.1 trillion spending bill that would pay for the operations of government through October and finally put to rest the bitter budget battles of last year.
The GOP-led House is slated to pass the 1,582-page bill Wednesday, though many tea party conservatives are sure to oppose it.

Senate Appropriations Committee Chairwoman Barbara Mikulski, Rat-Md: "This agreement shows the American people that we can compromise, and that we can govern ... it puts an end to shutdown, slowdown, slamdown politics" ... and that pretty much tells you all you need to know.

Mark Levin said last night that a republican congressman in the know said that Obama insisted on no changes to the IRS in policies that included harassing the Tea Party. He said if that was in the budget there would be shutdown.
