With a "personal friend" like Mika Brzezinski, Chris Christie doesn't need enemies. Yesterday and again today, the Morning Joe co-host insisted that the media's focus needed to be exclusively on Christie and the bridge matter, and that any discussion of President Obama's involvement with the IRS, Benghazi and other scandals was a "distraction."
Today, relying on her personal relationship with Christie, Mika took things a giant step further, declaring "we know Chris Christie and we know he would have known." Mika was in effect claiming that Christie lied when he said at his marathon press conference that he had only very recently learned that his aides had ordered the bridge closures.

Both Joe and Mika have said many times that they are close friends with Chris Christy.
Christy betrayed the conservatives who initially got him elected to be close to the Obama Administration and the MSM. He lectured conservatives against taking extreme positions.

The Christie thing is a temporary distraction, will eventually get knocked off the air by the coming Obamacare problems.
I don’t mind the Libs going after Christie. They’re actually helping us Conservatives by carrying the water on this. When we get to the 2016 primaries the focus can be on opposing Christie because he’s a hateful, vengeful and vindictive bully, not that he’s a RINO. Doing so will help prevent the media and Dems from inciting an ideological deathmatch that results in a weakened GOP nominee.

So.... Christie had the bridge closed... and all they did was close it, and not do any work on it ?
This all seems preposterous. Contracts to do repair work like this aren't scheduled at the whim of politicians.

If I were to drive up to the Mackinaw bridge today I can pretty much count on at least a partial closure of at least 1 lane.
Only an idiot would believe that those closures all require the go ahead from the governor and we only have a few major bridges in Michigan as compared to the east coast.
Just ask any governor in this country what lanes are shut down on what bridges in his or her state and I guarantee that not 1 will be able to tell you.
