Cody Mann, 28, was charged Wednesday with two counts animal cruelty and animal torture after he told police he skinned his pet cat and baked it in the oven. Onions were also intended to be added as accompaniments to the cat, according to charges.
In the bathtub, police found evidence of where the cat had been skinned, including red smear marks, hair and a steak knife. The cat's skin an entrails were found in the freezer, and a dish with partially eaten cat food and a water dish were also found in the apartment.

Stupid man....doesn’t he know cat goes with sweet potatoes?.............
Cat Scratch Fever....
May suggest a robust chianti with fava beans.
PETA (people eating tasty animals) would be so proud.
That's disgusting and in poor taste.
He should know that onions are much too strong and will over power the delicate flavor of the meat.
Shallots would be a much more suitable accompaniment.
Eating cat is illegal? If Obamanomics hadn’t help boost beef prices to RECORD HIGHS, maybe this guy would’ve made himself a burger.
Next he’ll be cooking a neighbor or two.
There is a rather unusual guy back from vacation and in the oval orifice who would fancy a nice baked poodle.
Does it taste like chicken?
Had to ask!
Sack bastard should be hanged drawn and quartered. I hate people who are cruel to animals and children.
Onions, indeed! The outrage!
You need to add carrots and celery and possibly some sage and thyme to make the recipe complete.
It doesn’t say he was “cruel” to the cat just that he skinned it and cooked it. Maybe the cat died of natural causes. Then that should get him in the mental ward right there.
Paging Andrew Zimmern...
“Eating cat is illegal?”
No, but skinning a cat alive is.
“It doesnt say he was cruel to the cat just that he skinned it and cooked it.”
He skinned it alive, that’s pretty cruel.
I wonder what wine does one serve with cat?
I’m really getting tired of seeing stories of this nature on FR...G-d can pull the plug on this country; I really won’t miss it.
what the heck are fava beans anyhow?
Sorry I missed that part. If he did that, I’ll bet he has wounds all over him and now he will have cat scratch fever.
There is no mention of the cat being skinned alive.
Popular in Portugal. Can be dried and eaten as nuts.
“I wonder what wine does one serve with cat?”
Everyone knows you don’t “bake” cat.
Cat goes into the slow smoker and is served with beans, potato salad, coleslaw, jalapeno peppers, and BEER.
BEER! BEER! and more BEER!
Doesn’t anyone around here know how to eat a -——?
Hmm, on second read, you are correct. I guess I must have assumed it because of the “animal torture” charge.
I hate to take this away from Obama...but drought and ethanol are more to blame for ridiculous beef prices. I am sure Obama loves it regardless of who caused the price increases.
The Cat’s in the Kettle:
Cat - The OTHER white meat.
Cfrom what I read, he will beat this. There is no evidence of animal cruelty or torture as long as the cat was dead before he began the preparation.
If it had been a chicken, would he be in jail?
It doesnt say he was cruel to the cat just that he skinned it and cooked it.
He skinned it alive, thats pretty cruel.
If he skinned that pussy while it was alive, he’s a hell of a man.
I like your user’s name. I’ve shot a lot of that. I’m going to try it next on an 8mm Mauser. If I ever get one that is.
Legumes, much used as green manure, but also for food.
My dad described it as stringy, if I remember correctly, I know that he didn’t like it.
Stir-fry is the way to go. Millions of Asians can’t be wrong!
I can’t believe no one has said “there’s more than one way to...”
4895, 4064, and 4350 all work good.
From my experiences
4895 seems to work best with lite bullets.
4064 seems to work best with mid weight.
4350 works best with mid to heavy bullets.
Some 8mm wont shoot lite weights, 150gr, worth a squat.
Have to start with 175 or 185gr.
If you get one make sure you do a good cleaning to get the copper out of the barrel.
Sometimes what looks like a worn out barrel is copper fouling.
The pressure will spike with you.
Would you have had the same reaction if he'd cooked a pet rabbit?
When I was a kid, visiting rural relatives over a summer, they gave me a chick as a pet. Chick would follow me around all day. By end of summer, chick had grown into chicken. Undoubtedly, after I left, I'm sure the chicken found it's way into oven or fry-pan eventually.
Cruelty to animals is indicative of cruelty later on to people.
Rabbits, deer, etec, are customary items of human consumption - cats are not - at least in western culture.
This is a very sick man.

4350 will work good.
It will start off shooting low with your starting load but it should start matching your iron sights as you work up your load.
No problem. BTDT
