John McCain Hits the Dust

Edited on 01/14/2014 11:59:09 AM PST by Admin Moderator. [history]

Although this may seem minor to some - it's encouraging to see that Americans aren't just complaining they're doing some very constructive.  We've all discussed John McCain and his flip flopping votes and not just leaning to the left, but  joining the left many times.

Hopefully, Ohio will do something similar to John Boehner - they've found a solution for Obamacare so they're definitely on the fight to take back our Country.  So there are things we can do as a group if we get organized.  Here's the email sent to me last night.  This is big and McCain is trying to weasel out.

U.S. Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., is frequently characterized by his critics as a “RINO” — Republican in name only — but such criticism hit especially close to home on Saturday.

The Maricopa County Republican Party, McCain’s home county, voted overwhelmingly to censure the 2008 Republican nominee for president for his “betrayal” of party values, according to the local CBS affiliate.

McCain was admonished for pushing liberal legislation, backing liberal nominees and for “assaults on the Constitution and 2nd amendment,” the resolution said.

Arkansas mom destroys Common Core in four powerful minutes

The vote wasn’t even close, with 1,169 voting for censure, compared to just 358 voting against it.

The censure concluded that “until he consistently champions our Party’s Platform and values, we, the Republican leadership in Arizona will no longer support, campaign for or endorse John McCain as our U.S. Senator.”

Ouch.

Here is the resolution as drafted by precinct committeeman Tim Schwartz, according to CBS5 Phoenix:

As leaders in the Republican Party, we are obligated to fully support our party, platform and its candidates. Only in times of great crisis or betrayal is it necessary to publicly censure our leaders.

Today we are faced with both. For too long we have waited, hoping Sen. McCain would return to our party’s values on his own. That has not happened. So with sadness and humility we rise and declare:

Whereas Sen. McCain has amassed a long and terrible record of drafting, co-sponsoring and voting for legislation best associated with liberal Democrats, such as amnesty, funding for Obamacare, the debt ceiling, assaults on the constitution and second amendment, and has continued to support liberal nominees;

Whereas this record has been disastrous and harmful to Arizona and the United States; and,

Whereas Sen. McCain has campaigned as a conservative and made promises during his re-election campaigns, such as the needed and welcomed promise to secure our borders and finish the border fence, only to quickly flip-flop on those promises; and whereas McCain has abandoned our core values and has been eerily silent against liberals, yet publicly reprimands conservatives in his own party, therefore

BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Maricopa County Republican leadership censures Sen. McCain for his continued disservice to our state and nation, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED  that until he consistently championsour party’s platform and values, we, the Republican leadership in Arizona will no longer support, campaign for or endorse John McCain as our U.S. senator.

As Always

don’t count your aisle-crossing RINO sellouts until they’re voted out of office

Maybe we can get (North) Vietnam to take McCain back.

That’s great! The only thing I’d change is to leave off the last line. It sounds like they’re still open to repentance. I mean really... would you ever trust him again? That’s what irks and concerns me about Republicans - they don’t know how to fight. As posted here on this site - he’s an undocumented Democrat. Change parties John - you and everyone else would be happier.

This is significant because he is, first and foremost, a representative of the state of Arizona. He can dismiss the fact that I an incensed at his flip-flops and weaseling but not so much his direct constituents.

Had the NVA known what they were doing, they would have released McCain immediately.

Little did the commies know that McCain was one of their most effective weapons .. wrecking equipment ... screwing up missions ... antagonizing fellow officers and superiors .. drunk, disorderly, disheveled ... and occasionally AWOL slobbo. Probably one of the worst airplane drivers ever, he was notorious for getting lost. Had he not had several admirals in the family, this fellow would have possibly made LT and have been assigned to soldering handles on mess kits in Twenty-Nine Palms.

The day he was captured, a sigh of relief went out throughout the fleet. How this yobbo wound up in the Senate is an abiding mystery of America's history.

You certainly know your stuff, I enjoyed reading that.

There are good reasons I post such barbs toward McCain, though I rarely explain them.

John McCain's lust for position is such that he would rather be a Sonoran Senator in Ciudad de México than be a private citizen in AZ, USA.

I would like to see other county committees follow suit and shun this RINO. The Maverick is really pushing every Democrat program out there.

Hey, Hoss. Until you move to Maricopa County, register as a Republican, and firmly establish your residence here, then don’t go telling people what they ought to be unless you’re willing to do it yourself. Got that, Hoss?

Article.

Then # 7, to wit:

"Had the NVA known what they were doing, they would have released McCain immediately.

"Little did the commies know that McCain was one of their most effective weapons .. wrecking equipment ... screwing up missions ... antagonizing fellow officers and superiors .. drunk, disorderly, disheveled ... and occasionally AWOL slobbo. "The day he was captured, a sigh of relief went out throughout the fleet. How this yobbo wound up in the Senate is an abiding mystery of America's history."

Also # 8.

McQueeg doesn't live in Maricopa County, he lives in Yavapai. I'm sure one of his many houses is here, but this is not where he lives.
