Whom do we have, really, who could get through the media gauntlet???
No one.
If Palin couldn’t do it, Cruz can’t.
Not one of us is tough enough or has a pulpit from which to fight the media. Forget “running a true conservative.” He or she can’t get their voice out. If they haven’t started trying to reach around the mainstream and talk to Americans by today, we are left with no one.
The fifth-column MSM is engaged in replacing the campaign and election process by restricting the access of conservatives to the public. This restriction is done by limiting the type of coverage given to leading conservatives to the trivial, the shocking, the (unsubstantiated) gossip, and the biased and edited interview.
I disagree. Palin was not ready for prime time. She was stuck with being under the control of McCain, so much so that she even supported him for re-election to the US Senate. She hadn't seen anything of politics outside of Alaska.
Ted Cruz doesn't have any of those negatives. He's articulate, he's intelligent, he can bring people around to understanding why the US needs a constitutional conservative in office.
Then look at mistakes Romney made that Cruz wouldn't. Romney backed off on Benghazi as a campaign issue; Cruz wouldn't. Romney didn't even try to win over almost half of the voters; Cruz impressed everyone with those 21 hours.
I think Cruz and the group that stand by him could put together a real interesting, energetic campaign. I suspect he'd win.....just about everyone, both parties, is fed up with the has beens running the show.
I agree with you. If the question is parsed as “who can get through the media gauntlet, then nobody.
Jesus Christ could not not it if he ran on the republican ticket.
The msm will never go for any republican ever, to the end of time...
