"Had the enemy been able to confront us militarily, it would have already taken action."
On Tuesday, Iranian news agency FARS reported the comments of Iranian Army Commander Major General Ataollah Salehi, who stated that the United States and Israel had no capacity to defeat Iran militarily. Had the enemy been able to confront us militarily, it would have already taken action, Salehi stated. He said that the talks proved that the West was unwilling to confront Iran: Given their weakness in the military dimension, they have opted for the political arena and we will certainly succeed in this area too.
FARS quoted remarks from Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Qassem Soleimani from December, in which he stated that The Americans and Obama are lying when they assert that all options are on the table against Iran. At that time, Soleimani, called talk of American sanctions effectiveness nothing more than a lie, adding, it is the US which has collapsed in political, economic and military arenas which are considered as the main elements of power.
Soleimani pointed to Americas supposed failures in Iraq and Afghanistan as evidence of that collapse. The US has also failed in the military aspect in any country against which it has waged a war, including Iraq and Afghanistan, he said.
I’m guessing that General FlapJackHat is laughing at “give peace a chance.”
Can, but won’t as long as the fellow American-hating Muzzie occupies the WH.

I fully agree.
This does seem to be a logical conclusion for most of us. A full-on act of admitting weakness and a readiness to submit to a more dominant force. You can stop waving that white flag now, Barack, we all got the message.
General Halftrack there has mistaken unwillingness for inability. Bath-House Barry Benghazi hates America and desire the success of islamic nutjobs in all things great and small.
“Had the enemy been able to confront us militarily, it would have already taken action.”
Sounds like plans to take action later.
Fmr Kerry aide: Iran Should Not Be Required to Cease Terrorism Against US
That is some “peace” deal.
That guy looks like a complete schlub. SGT Bilko looked more military. Some “general.”
Bingo!
What he and his clowns couldn't do in 8 years we did in less than 8 weeks.
Maybe Sally should be given a math lesson. They are still working on trying to develop ONE NUKE. We have enough for every city in their wasteland they call a country.
One Minuteman with 3 warheads, would satisfactorily remove Tehran from the face of the earth.
When I got back from Vietnam, I went to a pilot training base in Del Rio, TX. At that time, we had many foreign student pilots, including Iranians. They were a king size joke to the USAF instructor pilots. They said that the Iranians could not fly airplanes to save their a$$es. The USAF instructors jokingly told the Iranians, in a pinch, always break left. They figured they would eventually face them in combat anyway, so they would always know what the Iranians would do. Unless the Iranian Air Force has improved 1,000 %, they would be no match for US pilots. That might not sit well with the Obungler, because he is on the Iranian side.
“Had the enemy been able to confront us militarily, it would have already taken action.”
Actually he is telling us that had they been able,
they would have already attacked us.
Aren’t they still flying F-4s, F-14s, F-20s and miscellaneous other trash with no spare parts or proper weaponry?
Actually, just one missile from one of our submarines could destroy every city of note in that country.
Now I understand why the US Army didn’t want us growing beards, besides that tired old “your gas mask won’t seal properly” excuse.
