Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon has apologized for his remarks. Hopefully this is the end of it. Ya’alon has a history of controversial, but accurate, statements. Ya’alon resigned as Defense Chief of Staff in 2005 in opposition to the Gaza withdrawal. He is close to BiBi. He says what BiBi only dares think, perhaps by design.

best response would be for Netanyahu to sort of laugh it off and say people are entitled to their own opinions.
