Hugh tore him a good one. Ryan may not sit for a week. Unfortunately, I could hear more stubborness than thoughtfulness in his voice. He needs to think about what he is doing.

The really pitiful part was that Lindsey Graham followed Ryan and was the one who made sense. The world is upside down...

Ryan is a bit of a nut case....going by previous stuff from him too. See “House of Cards” to get a better feel how nasty the horse trading is in DC.

Remind me about how many years Ryan and Murray served in uniform.

Ryan is a jackass. Can cut veteran retirement. I’m not saying it can -never- be done if the accounts really are running dry. BUT, it should never happen while we spend money to promote homosexuality, study global warming, or to buy a few billion worth of German subs for Egypt, or F-16s for Pakistan.

Paul Ryan is a MAJOR-league WEASEL. No decent conservative should give this despicable weakling (when it comes to dealing with the progressives) ANY support in the future.

You can’t fool us again Little Paulie!

Weak like Pete Russo...obviously minus the drink and drugs. Paul Ryan is an exercise fiend, running each day. People who live clean can be flaky.

Hugh Hewitt took Ryan apart.

Moreover, Ryan present false choices and false solutions.

Ryan speaks as if he had nothing to do with the previous military cuts of $487 Billion in 2010 and the Sequester cut of $650 Billion in 2013 (both spread out over ten years). In fact, Ryan negotiated both of those with the Obama Administration, and worse - it was Ryan and the GOP who agreed to EXEMPT entitlements like Medicare, Food Stamps, and TANF Welfare, but the military at roughly 18% of the budget had to "pay for" 50% of all Sequester cuts.

Next, Ryan presents the dilemma as if the Pentagon is generating its own funding. That is how a garage sale works, not the Federal budget. Ryan is saying that because of the deep military cuts (that he himself negotiated) are killing the military, then the only solution is to steal from the men, women, and their families who are recently retired or on active duty.

Even worse, Ryan acts like a Communist when he says that a "working age" military retiree can go "get another job and doesn't need that money" - so Ryan is justified in "taking it." Whaaaaatttt? So Paul Ryan knows your expenses, your college bills, your heat bill, and everything else about you, and can magically determine that you don't need your money that you rightfully earned by sacrificing for this nation, so Paul Ryan can take it and give it to Head Start or several other piles of Billions of dollars in crap that is now sucking our men and women in uniform and our retirees dry.

Hewitt asked Ryan "why the rush?" And "why didn't you fix this?" Ryan promises to look at things in 2 years or so, but Hewitt rightly says Ryan is holding the military men, women, and their families hostage. Ryan did a song and dance.

If we are $17 Trillion in debt, why would this $0.6 Billion in the bill for this year be the only provision that has to be "offset and paid for?" Ryan trails off....

Then Ryan awakes again and accuses the military being a bunch of moochers who are overpaid and they deserve to be gutted vis a vis their meager pay.

And, in the Hewitt interview, the weasel Paul Ryan said words to the effect “...well, we did the same thing (reduce the annual COLA increases by 1%) to civilian federal employees...”.

What the despicable weasel doesn’t say is that they did that in 1982 or 1983 BUT THEY ONLY DID IT PROSPECTIVELY. It ONLY applied to future employees hired January 1, 1984 or later. And to make it easier on these future federal employees they said they’d give them a 401K plan match of 5% of their salaries each year. So for the next 25 or 30 years those 1984 and later hires would be able to accrue a very substantial amount of money as those 5% matches added up and accrued interest and/or other gains. I’m sure that bucket of money from the matches will more than make up for those 1984 & later hires as they begin to retire now and have the annual 1% reductions.

All the existing federal employees in 1984 were GRANDFATHERED and not affected by that legislation unless they voluntarily asked to be affected (so they also could get the annual matches of 5% of their annual salary).

Did the weasel Paul Ryan make if prospective for new service men and women who enter active duty in 2014 or later and GRANDFATHER the existing servicemen? Hell no, that would have given him no “street cred” with his progressive coworkers. No, he had to make it also effective for current service men and women as well as for current retirees.

Let’s make sure the weasel Paul Ryan doesn’t fool us again. Don’t trust him or ANYTHING he tries to sell you with his weasel words.

“why would this $0.6 Billion in the bill”

Yet we have 2 billion for Egypt, another 1.8 for Pakistan, 6 Billion for the Afghan government,,,etc etc.

And to the _resident’s designated “Promise Zones”, and we all know what that redistribution scheme means. No money for legless vets, money for gangbangers (like that brazen scheme in Chicago, “Ceasefire”, where unaccounted millions were funneled to gangbangers to stop the violence. Yeah, right. The taxpayers just bought the gangs more weapons with which to terrorise them-so they get murdered with the weapons their extorted taxes paid for!)

Whatever. Hugh Hewitt has enabled the likes of Paul Ryan for so long (click on the link at hughhewitt.com to contribute to the NRSC!!) that I don’t believe his act for a second.

Few people have fallen into greater depths of insanity in one year than WI’s Paul Ryan. I’d rather see a Democrat in that seat.

time to remember how we got here.

Bush and Cheney decided they wanted the US to occupy
Afghanistan and Iraq for 50 years.
backlash from the voters then resulted in Obama et al.

..............
now we get intra party warfare, with people in safe districts, and other non-participants, attacking fellow Republicans who are brave enough to try to pick up the pieces.
just wonderful.
