And not just any gloves or tweezers- welding gloves and zircon-encrusted tweezers.

I was just going to post this.

San Francisco is banning plastic bags in grocery stores because of ending up in landfills, so what are they going to do with all those used latex gloves?

Do they still have to wash their latex-covered hands after they use the restroom?

Only if they're latex air tight. And worn stretched over their head.

I like that one a little better, although latex could be air tight already, just wanted to make sure there was no breathing room for correction in my comment. ;-)

I am not, as a rule, supportive of the litigious society that has developed these days. But if I ever caught wind of someone adding some local flavor to my food? I'd see them turned inside out for every red cent they're worth.

I would rather just turn them inside out....

Me too, but I’ve been informed that that sort of thing is frowned upon these days.

I have often seen food service workers dutifully wear their gloves to handle food, keep them on while using the till and handling money...both quite filthy.... then not change gloves and go back to food prep.

San Francisco is maybe 10 years away from requiring that pedestrians wear helmets.

I predict that by 2045, even a rural Californian stepping outside of their home without donning their CA Dept. of Public Safety-approved unisex Pedihelmet will be shouted at via the pole-mounted loudspeaker on the neighborhood remote safety camera to put their helmet on or be cited by ticket-dispensing aerial drone.

12-year olds will have facial tattoos, but they will also have fashionable Pedihelms funded in part by displaying electronic advertising for various IMAX 4D porno sites on the SuperWeb.

12-year olds will have facial tattoos...

Those won't be tatoos, they'll be government-mandated QR codes, so that the pole-mounted remote safety cameras can scan you and pull up all of your NSA-supplied IRS records.

Nah, this is _California_. They should wear kinky elbow-length plastic gloves in some eye-scorching day-glo color.
