'Bloomberg' column details former US defense secretary's feelings that Netanyahu was "impudent," unable to cope with growing Israeli isolation.
Freshly retired US defense secretary Robert Gates was highly critical of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, calling him an ungrateful ally and blaming him for diplomatically isolating Israel and hurting American interests, a Bloomberg column revealed Tuesday.
The criticism, reported in a piece by Jeffrey Goldberg, apparently peaked after Netanyahu met with US President Barack Obama last May, lecturing him in front of the cameras on the Israeli security situation with a level of "impudence" that shocked many in the White House, including Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Considering all the military, political, financial support America has given Israel, not having provided the unstinting support it did, Israel would not be in existence today. And then to make claim that it ids an ungrateful ally, well,like I said, it would be the absolute worst thing to say, not just for Israel, Israelis but for American Jews and World Jewry.

She attended synagogue (While attending catholic and secular schools ). She married three times, all Jewish husbands. She identifies today as Jewish despite the fact this does not help her politically. For what it’s worth.

I watched Today show Interview with Matt Lauer and Gates over his book. Matt was foaming at the mouth in attack mode with questions. Anyways- Gates has this neck brace on and he looked stupid as all get out. He had hard time talking and you could tell he was getting flustered by Matt’s questions.
And this is why people view Republicans as idiots. They write books then cower in front of the Media...

George W, did stay silent for a while when Israel invaded Gaza just before the end of his term of office. I believe the operation was called 'operation cast lead'.
