U.S. House GOP To Introduce Shortly New Immigration Plan, Including Path To Legal Status

House Republicans are working on an immigration plan that would give potentially millions of undocumented immigrants a chance to permanently live and work in the United States.

The plan, which is reportedly days away from being released to the public, will cover ideas on how the U.S. border should be protected, how immigration laws should be enforced inside the United States, the expansion of visas for certain foreign workers, and how many of the country’s estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants can embark on a path to legalize their status, according to published reports, such as one in online news publication Politico.

The path to legalization’s inclusion in the plan – which House Republican leaders discussed as recently as Wednesday -- is particularly significant given that it is one of the pivotal reasons that plans last year to pass a comprehensive immigration reform law broke down in the House of Representatives after it passed in the Senate in June.

You only see the hardworking ones. The hard working illegal immigrants are highly visible. What you don’t see is their families sucking at the public teat or the criminal illegals in our jails.

Minimum wage earners don’t pay in squat compared to what they take out of the system, and their demographic is rife with high school dropouts, criminality and out-of-wedlock births even three generations in.

“My path” isn’t some Zen bit of esoterica. It’s voting FOR what you believe in. Please explain what is ‘wrong’ with that considering it’s what the founders intended we do.

If you expect to get what you want by either voting against it or relying on the altruism of the GOP, than don’t feel shocked and please, don’t complain on internet sites when your fantasy stubbornly refuses to materialize.

Not enough people believe what you do? Afraid of losing? Here’s a radical idea. Campaign for your beliefs and bring people on board to your position.

Too late. Once amnesty is granted it is too late to take it back. By then, the illegal legals will all be voting for the commies.

“Abortions didn’t help either.”

But as I read the sorry statistics on abortion, Whites abort far fewer of their potential offspring than do the two “major” minority groups

“I guess since you call them “trash”, you have already written off the Hispanic vote,”

Not at all. Legal Hispanic people are not the problem. The citizens of Hispanic decent that I know, generally dislike their border jumping “compatriots” from Mexico and points South much as I do.

“So how do you propose to counter their numbers twenty years from now?”

I have no solution except to say that unless the “whites” begin to understand that their survival depends on reproducing themselves, they will cease to exist. The other thing that will undoubtedly happen is that there will be more inter-racial marriages/relationships. The real issue isn’t so much race as it is education. Unfortunately the government ( and I include both parties) seem to be content to promote educational policies that will breed far too many “worthless eaters” that they can control. So ultimately our survival as a country will be at risk as the “monolithic societies” like China will take over. Isn’t this multi-cultural $hit wonderful!!

George Herbert Walker Bush promised he would continue the Reagan Revolution, he didn’t; The result, Clinton was elected. There would have been no Perot if GHWB had really been the third term of Reagan like he promised.

I understand your desire to melt down their phone lines, but it rarely works. Their patrons, like the Chamber of Commerce, can deliver cash in the millions of dollars and that is what gets their attention(and votes).

lesser evil is still evil. We have to learn to nominate and elect candidates who represent all of our values.

Voting for .. lesser evils made that headline a reality.

Well said, Norm. That is exactly what got us where we are today.

From what I’ve seem, many Mexican immigrants are very productive and hard working.

What you don't see, are all the state and federal goodies those "hard working" immigrants are receiving in subsidies. They couldn't work for peanuts unless they had their hands in the American taxpayers' pockets.

No immigration changes.

Bring back jobs to America.

Now. We can talk about immigration AFTER we have brought down American unemployment.

No immigration changes.

The lesser evil is still evil. Especially when they’re part of the same uniparty.

Good news for me is that it’s looking like getting my voting addiction under control will be easier than I thought.

Good news for all of us on FR is that the paid gop bloggers and their toadies will be back soon. No doubt there will be warm welcomes and ticker tape parades to greet their arrival. I can smell the ozone from my backyard.

“Many of us chose your path in 1992 and voted for Perot. The result, Clinton was elected.”

So we should go with your plan which is what? Voting for more uniparty pukes with an “R” after their name? Gee, that’s a plan. But I think I like my plan more: I intend to get up bright and early on the 4th of November and go to work. I’ll spend the extra time I’ll have from skipping the polls to do some ironing. You go ahead and wait in line and vote for your favorite gop politicians.

The difference between my plan and your plan is that when all is said and done, I’ll have some nicely pressed shirts to show for it.

So we should go with your plan which is what?

My plan is to win Americans over to Conservative values, and support real Conservatives in the primaries. I spent plenty in 2012 trying to do just that, but once it was over, the choice was either Romney, or make it easier for Obama to win.

The difference between my plan and your plan is that when all is said and done, I’ll have some nicely pressed shirts to show for it.

The difference between my plan and your plan is that I haven’t given up.
