Andrew Cuomo: Pro-Life People “Have No Place in the State of New York”
http://www.lifenews.com ^ | January 17, 2014 | Steven Ertelt

Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York has already proven himself to be one of the most pro-abortion politicians in the country. He’s repeatedly pushed a bill that would make the state that has some of the highest abortion rates in the nation further down the road of unlimited abortions.

Now, Cuomo has said that pro-life people have no business living in the state. If the governor has any interest in pursuing national office with a potential Democratic presidential campaign, he’s definitely lost the majority of the country that appreciates the right to life of unborn babies.

But maybe Cuomo is doing the rest of the nation a favor. If he alienates enough pro-lifers, who move elsewhere, the state will continue to see its influence wane — as it further loses more Congressional seats to southern and western states as conservative New Yorkers look for more welcoming places to live.

We only hope they do not still hold there left wing beliefs and want to f___ up the wonderful South.

Good luck with that. A generation ago Vermont was one of the most conservative states in the country. Then the libs came from NY, NJ, and Mass and now we have a complete mess.

“There are a lot of pro life people, Catholics, who vote Dem but are still prolife...especially in NY state”.

No. There is no such thing as a pro-life democrat. If you support pro-death politicians YOU ARE NOT PRO-LIFE. You can’t personally be against murder and at the same vote for politicians that advocate murder. And that’s a fact.

Both bishops that could deny communion to Cuomo REFUSE to do so. The archbishop of Albany, Howard Hubbard, and of course democrat Timothy Dolan. Both should be ashamed of themselves,
and one day will have to answer to God for allowing so-called Catholics to openly mock the Holy Eucharist.

I've often wondered how VT turned so FAR left.

Liberals from NY City invading Vermont by the hundreds of thousands. California liberals did the exact same thing to Oregon and Washington State, both which used to be conservative states. The vast land area of both states is still conservative but the liberal strongholds of King County (Seattle) and Multnomah County (Portland, OR) are where the majority of the people (California transplants) live. Those two tiny areas of the states control the states politics.

Incorrect, as far as Washington is concerned. In 1936, James Farley, who was Postmaster General and political fixer to FDR, referred to Washington state as "the soviet of Washington". The Wobblies had a huge presence in Washington during and after World War I.

The democrat party of 80 years ago was not the baby murdering, pro homo “marriage” party it has became. The democrat party of 80 years ago was the dominate party in the majority of all states. Since the party became the Godless party California heathens have invaded the state by the millions and that’s why the liberals now reside in the liberal stronghold of King County. The vast land area of the state remains strong republican country. The area east of the Cascades has advocated breaking away from the liberal part of the state for years. I wish it would. The politics are as different as night and day.

Not just King County. The Leftist area consists of King, Snohomish, Pierce and Thurston counties. The remaining counties of Western Washington are swing counties.

Eastern Washington is overwhelmingly conservative, except for Spokane, but it only has one-third of the population of the state. They would be happier as a part of Idaho.

However, there is a stubborn libertarian streak in Eastern Washington. In 1998, an initiative that would have banned partial birth abortion lost in every county, except one tiny county in Eastern Washington. When pollsters asked people in Eastern Washington why they voted so strongly against it, they said they didn't want government to have the power to poke its nose into their family's most personal decisions.

Spokane County went for Romney in 2012 and voted against same-sex marriage. I agree Spokane County and all other counties that border Idaho would be much happier. I know I would.

When I referred to "Spokane", I was referring to the city, not the county.

Everything east of the Cascades should be part of Idaho. The single best destiny for Western Washington would be to be annexed into British Columbia.

“The single best destiny for Western Washington would be to be annexed into British Columbia”.

Sounds good to me. I have wondered by the California liberals have not attempted to invade Idaho yet. Guess they think the state is crawling with white supremists. There are a lot of retired LA cops in Northern Idaho. Most I would suspect are conservatives.

Abortion is THE DEAL BREAKER. If a Christian votes Democrat, his priorities are not aligned with his professed faith.

Abortion is not just a little bit evil.
