Arrests have spread across Nigeria as dozens more people perceived to be gay have been rounded up and questioned, activists said Friday, describing another ast few days, more than 30 people have been arrested, with an increasing number coming from the west African country's Christian southern states. Until Goodluck Jonathan signed the law more than a week ago, prosecution of gay people had largely been centered on the predominantly Muslim north, where gays have long been punished under Shariah law.

"The arrests are all over. It's no longer just in the north," said Ifeanyi Kelly Orazulike, executive director of the Nigeria-based International Center for Advocacy on Right to Health. "Police are not telling us what the charges are, and people are scared.

“Arrests Spreading Under Nigeria Anti-Gay Law”

Good grief!

Nigeria has more common sense then we do? I guess it IS truly over for America. What the liberal communist empire couldn’t do from the outside, home grown liberal idiots have accomplished from the inside!

Sounds like these Nigerians are a bunch of uncle toms. Everyone knows that "real" Black people are all "down" with the struggle for queerdom.

I suppose there will be lots of condemnation from the pulpits of American Black churches tomorrow. After all, when did the Black churches ever utter a peep of protest at any position the Left holds?

I would take the report with a very large grain of salt. Consider the source. “Activists” means gay activists and I doubt they are being at all truthful.

There are some serious STD/VD problems there, and apparently, they’ve collaborated to take quite a few administrative positions, etc., operating much like materialistic anti-family facists. Folks might wonder how our own previous generations might have dealt with such a situation.
