I don’t actually take in Fox News very often mostly because I don’t watch much of any television that isn’t sports. So I missed the debut last month of Fox News’s latest correspondent who fits the usual Roger Ailes profile, but in this case with the extra accomplishment of having been a carrier-based fighter pilot. Top gun indeed. Don’t hold your breath for MSNBC ever to hire someone like this. You can take in the Lea Gabrielle story yourself (just 2 minutes long):

I continue to be truly amazed at the talent Fox brings on board.
Shep is the foil, so we don’t get spoiled by the rest of the Fox lineup. He is there to remind us why we don’t watch the other......what is the word I am looking for.....
You're certainly right about that. Fox News is not perfect, but half a loaf of bread is better than none.
I just wish they could've kept Glenn Beck on, perhaps for half an hour a day. The guy is a nut, but he does expose some dark secrets now and again.
Give Beck the first half of O'Reilly's time slot. Give the second half to Laura Ingraham. Put O'Reilly on a tour bus with Shepard Smith. Have them travel the country selling books and makeup.

FOX is the only news that In get on my G-sat here in the Philippines. No Commie News Network or PMSNBC for us.
She’s a babe for sure and I enjoy watching her.
But Meg is the highlight of the FNC prime-time lineup.
I cant sit through Hannity and you can forget O Reilly.
I cant take five minutes of him.
