Wasn't that photo at the link of Confederate re-enactors subtle? And I guess Paul has never read that the founding fathers abhorred democracy, likening it to mob rule.

Stopping the murder of unborn human beings is “insane”?

God, please have mercy on people of good will.

based on the support of as little as 12 percent of the nation’s population?

You mean sorta like foisting homosexual agenda items on a public who despises that agenda?

You mean like overturning state laws and constitutional amendments?

Yeah that would suck....

Idiot.

Thank God we are a constitutional republic. Salon’s idea of “democracy” is mob rule by “Occupy” buttholes.

Looks like it’s shifting us over to their 2014 index or something for whatever reason.

Of course, nullification is unconstitutional. The text of Article VI is crystal clear: This Constitution, and the laws of the United States which shall be made in pursuance thereof; and all treaties made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States, shall be the supreme law of the land; and the judges in every state shall be bound thereby, anything in the Constitution or laws of any State to the contrary notwithstanding.

Laws that are unconstitutional or that contravene constitutional rights are not the supreme law of the land so therefore they can be nullified by the States.

The Left is running scared. Everything they do is unconstitutional. Perish the thought that the people, at the grass roots level, would like to re-boot our constitutional republic.
We are going to have a successful article 5 movement, or we will have CW2. I think the effete metrosexuals at salon should prefer the former. They have their magazine, and we have our magazines.

Yes. The fact that he says nullification is unconstitutional proves that he’s a lying SOB.

There is a fourth branch, it is legislation and forced compliance with no recourse to traditional courts via agencies such as EPA, FDA, IRS, etc.
