I don’t think Mexico passed, but we evidently voted to become Greece

Sorry, obviously, you like gun grabbers. Rinos, whatever.. there’s a party for everyone! I am strict by the constitution and KNOW this chick is just trying to get into good favor after what she did to everyone. So, go on, buy her next book, have fun, whatever.

I think you missed the point of her comments. She is saying that LaPierre was not defending gun rights strongly enough.

Ann Coulter put herself into a BIG WIDE NATIONAL HOLE by supporting Christie Cream and then she actually (since smoothsailing has not provided a link to prove otherwise) is a gun grabber as Christie himself!.. Ann Coulter is digging herself out of the big wide hole so she can sell her next book. Shame.. I used to like her and had all her books up until then...................

Conservatives have refused to leave the GOP

Are you high or drunk?

I've talked to plenty of conservatives who will no longer vote Republican. If amnesty passes, you can kiss the Republican Party goodbye.

You proved my point.

They could have left long ago and stopped the damage, but they didn't.

We will get amnesty, and conservatives voted for the politicians who have supported it for years.

I hope so as I have never heard of such except from Christie himself.

I was done with Coulter when she called the defenders of Article 2, Section 1, “CRANKS” and used the KKK to further drive home her point.

The woman is completely untrustworthy.

What we have is a revolution from above. The top ten percent has decided to make the rest of us conform to their values of right and wrong, to undermine our interests in favor of their own. Oligarchy.

What? I was talking about what Coulter said about Wayne LaPierre. How did Christie get into this?

How many times do these Republicans have to try pushing amnesty and in-state tuition and drivers' licenses then, suddenly, they discover, oops, the dogs don't like it?

Kind of like when Ann Coulter jumped the shark with her unending love for Romney and Christie, who are both Amnesty supporters.

Us dogs didn't like that one bit.

Ann is obviously trying to backtrack since none of us are buying her books anymore.

Hey, being Mexico wouldn't be so bad, would it?

The food is tasty, the beer isn't too bad, the price of gas is about the same, you can hire cheap maids and pool boys, get your fruit and vegetables picked by willing workers, and everything else is pretty cheap.

Why worry about the cartels and an overbearing and corrupt government? We have those here anyhow. As the old saying goes, "If rape is inevitable, you may as well lay back and enjoy it!", right?

*do I need to add an "/s/"?

You proved my point.

What point? Your lie that conservatives will support the GOP forever?

They could have left long ago and stopped the damage, but they didn't.

They DID. See the 2006 mid-terms. See what happened to pro-amnesty Republicans.

We will get amnesty, and conservatives voted for the politicians who have supported it for years.

Wrong, because now you have the GOP establishment hell-bent on passing it, when before that wasn't the case. So of course we supported those Republicans who refused to support amnesty. Now that the party is backing it, there's no need to support the GOP.

Wow, this thread went south in an instant!

1. Ann Coulter has forsworn her earlier enthusiastic support of Mister Christie. (Anyone can make an error. Reagan once supported amnesty, and later called it his biggest mistake. I once thought Paul Ryan was an electable conservative. See?)

2. Rather than rejecting the GOP, why not just reject (via primary) the individual (and alleged) GOPers who support, endorse, or vote for amnesty? Then, work from within to retake the once-Grand Old Party?

Going rogue third-party is a loser strat, guaranteed to keep the Dems in control of your life.

.

i have never viewed ann as a conservative.

she is a pragmatic, political strategist who tends to lean more to the right, but sometimes not.

Ann pushed Mitt Romney on the GOP for two election cycles.

Here is an old post on Mitt’s relationship to illegal immigration.
My jaw dropped when I saw Mitt denying his illegals in the 2007 debate, and was not surprised what came of it a week later (well, surprised but not totally shocked).

Governor Mitt and wife Ann, were interacting with the Guatemalan illegals at their private home for 10 years. The landscaper that the illegals worked for, was a naturalized Colombian himself, personally chosen by Mitt, (A naturalized Colombian, Guatemalan illegals, and a sitting Governor during 4 years of that period), IDs better have been checked.

In December of 2006, the republican Governor was exposed, and suffered national embarrassment for using illegals for 10 years.

In December of 2007, in a national debate, Rudy Giuliani accused Mitt Romney of having run a “Sanctuary Mansion”. On national TV, Mitt Romney indignantly denied the claim.

A few days after the debate, the Boston Globe decided to look again at Mitt’s house, and guess what, they found Guatemalan illegals, they were working for the same Colombian, MITT HAD NEVER FIRED THEM!

Ten years and a national scandal, turned into 11 years, and into a second national scandal, with all the same players, the same “contractor”, Guatemalan illegals, and the same Mitt Romney and his wife interacting with them at their home during the week.
