Police in Sochi have launched an urgent search for a possible female suicide bomber who may have already made it past the ring of security set up for the Olympic Games.
Hotel employees in Sochi told ABC News that posters with pictures and descriptions of a 22-year-old woman from nearby Dagestan were distributed over the weekend by authorities and a similar flyer was also seen posted at Sochi's airport.
A spokesperson for the U.S. Olympic Committee reacted to the revelation by saying that the safety of Team USA is their "top priority."

Funny how the MSM censored her religion. Because I know if she was Christian, she’d be described as that, and a devote one at that. If she was a Jewish terrorist, we’d have an in depth report of where she grew up. But since it is not mentioned at all, she must be a member of the Religion of Peace.

Per one article I read, the Russians are moving some 30,000 troops into the area.
when a Soviet diplomat was captured by muslim terrorists in the ME, a couple leaders of the responsible terrorist group woke to find the dismembered remains of one of each of their children neatly boxed up on their doorsteps.
The diplomat was promptly released with something akin to an apology.
There were no further kidnappings of Russian diplomats.

I wondered the same thing myself. The Beirut hostage event took place in 1985. Putin joined the KGB in 1975, so I'm guessing that by 1985 he was at least a mid-level officer. Not high enough to make command decisions, but high enough to lead a strike team.
Interestingly enough, there were reports of a stern shirtless man riding a horse around Beirut at the time.
