As Mayor Rahm Emanuel starts to craft rules on selling guns in Chicago, he's unlikely to find much inspiration in the Chicago area but could look to California to see how far he can go in setting strict standards.
Outside of Evanston and Oak Park, towns around here don't have many regulations in place when it comes to gun sales. Locales like Los Angeles have been pushing the envelope in making it hard for gun stores to set up shop within city limits.

He can look at his idol, Hitler, for strict gun laws. Or maybe Stalin or Mao.
The already-strict gun laws in Chicago and Illinois are working real well, aren’t they Mr. Mayor?
Rahmbo was a ballerina who lied about cutting his finger off at Arby’s in a meat-cutter.
He said he did it as an IDF tank crewman in the Negev. I’m serious.
Gotta keep street crime up somehow. Gun restrictions reliably do that.
Keeping people poor and on welfare and harassed by street criminals means that they will not give you any problems, can’t organize, can’t move away, yet will vote for you over and over to fix the terrible plight you put them in.
“Laboratories of democracy” have become the stomping grounds of socialists/totalitarians.
Why not ARGUS Chicago?

TOTALITARIANS with a different agenda ALERT!
The most dangerous place in the US is being on or around the CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) buses and trains. For years, law abiding taxpayers have been forced to carry all variety of legal, non-lethal defensive devices like sirens, mini-air horns, telescoping batons, sprays, super high lumen mini-flashlights (at night), bicycle chains, legal folding knives, etc.
Why is this? Because of the Chicago Machine’s obsession with keeping everyone on the plantation. Chicago has a force of 180 transit police to protect passengers for over 300 million rides in a year. NYC has a force of over 4,000 transit police.
Even the chronically delayed concealed carry laws will exclude public transit.
Yep, no murders in Chicago...
Should Morton Grove be added to this list? I remember that back in the 1980s these three completely banned the ownership and possession of handguns in their cities.
Come on, this is Chicago we’re talking about. Rahm is checking to see how California politicians got their relatives as owners of the gun shops. I bet he gets a part interest in any gun shop in the city.
