Our coal production is going to double anyway as per the WSJ because China is building 100 coal plants a day or whatever it is, and it’s ok for communists to destroy the world it’s only evil for capitalists to burn coal.

And I’m sure the Chicoms are environmentally sensitive. /s

The problem is that the “climate scientists” have a giant conflict of interest because of the heavy funding they would lose if the global-warming scam goes away. She should be listening to ALL the scientists in physics, geology, and meteorology.

LOL! As opposed the the gazillions of dollars ponied up by evil big oil and the super villain Koch brothers to the “deniers”? Hey, at least it wouldn’t be our tax dollars going to the “deniers”. Grants go to those in agreement with the goals of the admin.

This is pretty much the answer you’ll get from any lib about “global warming” when you ask them how they know it’s true - “it’s what the scientists say is true”.

Ah... and they’ve never been wrong before, ever... and that’s worth devastating our economy, going without electricity, restricting where we live and what we drive.

“Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) said the evidence of climate change is already being witnessed in more acidic oceans and rising seas.

“Our sea levels are rising,” he said. “It’s not complicated. You measure that with a yardstick.””

Subpoena them and let them explain their conclusions and what data they’re based on. Grill them till they burn (no pun intended).

“Our sea levels are rising,” he said. “It’s not complicated. You measure that with a yardstick.”

Hard to measure a 3 mm. rise per year with a yardstick as it is only 0.118 inches.

Satellite data shows that sea levels have not been rising faster in last 20 years

And what area of study are their “science” degrees in?
And what is their history of receiving grants to issue studies of “climate change”?

And what would happen to those grants if they took a contrarian view?

And now some “scientists” are saying the climate change began with mankind learning how to speak, which caused an increase in rainfall. See article below

If Americans had any balls left, they would DEFY any and all dictates from this tyrannical regime.

Mine the coal. Ship the coal. Burn the coal. Station militia around each to repel enforcement of tyranny. Watch our power rates drop.

It is our duty to defy tyranny. Until we as a people do this - we are conquered by tyranny.

Dear EPA Goon,

U.S. coal fired plants are NOT “devistating” ANYTHING.

Thus, your over reaching regulations only serve to shut down another American industrly and devistate our energy supplies.

The growth of “dirty coal” in China and India dwarf any impacts the U.S. industry may have.

Oh...by the way...there is NO MAN MADE GLOBAL WARMING!!!
(Can’t wait to see the video of you sliding off the road into a ditch, in this current storm.)

The whole thing is baloney. Most of whats coming out of the stacks of the the coal fired power plants is steam. Well and the dreaded carbon dioxide with which we would all die.

The US is following the European model of well connected dilettantes, known as "public intellectuals," in positions of power.

Funny thing is though, a lot of the europeans are cutting back on their “sustainable” commitments now for energy production. It’s almost like an incandescent bulb just came on or something. (Green bulbs don’t heat the chicken coop to well.)

You don't need a yardstick when talking about a millimeter or two. I wonder if Whitehouse even knows how trivial that is, when measuring his "rising" sea levels.

Oh and btw the oceans at larger are not "more acidic," they are alkaline and always will be.

The EPA’s highest-paid employee and a leading expert on climate change was sentenced to 32 months in federal prison Wednesday for lying to his bosses and saying he was a CIA spy working in Pakistan so he could avoid doing his real job.

John C. Beale’s crimes were “inexplicable” and “unbelievably egregious,” said Judge Ellen Huvelle in imposing the sentence in a Washington. D.C. federal court. Beale has also agreed to pay $1.3 million in restitution and forfeiture to the government.
